They are a way of switching to a much more cost effective way of getting the nicotine hit you crave from normal cigs, also as time goes by you can reduce the nicotine in the juice, so start at 18,12,6,0 eventually only vaping the flavour or stopping all together. So with that they are a way of getting off normal cigs.

There are quite a few people on different forums who have never smoked but actually vape 0mg nicotine juice because it tastes good

cheers , its a seriously popular thing of late , so many people where I work have started using these instead of the real thing.

Much better way of getting off real cigarettes.

I was tempted to get a electronic cigarette but not being a smoker its properly not a good idea even if like you say many just like the taste without the nicotine.

are these electronic cigarettes a way of getting off the real thing or do most on here just like the taste of the different vapours , has anyone never smoked before but like this stuff?

This thread is a whole testament to how effective these devices are to helping people quit smoking. Myself included.

Edit - I felt a bit photogenic today lol

Just bought myself an Ac9 V1.3 from cloud9vaping, hoping to get it wednesday next week due to the bank holiday, finally my goal of owning a Poldiac with an AC9 ontop is coming true.
Next step is to send my Poldiac and AC9 to a guy on UKV to get it painted and polished so it will all be unique :)

Sounds sexy, pics when it's done!

Might have to subtly include my vamo in some of my photography while I'm still in Rome. I've seen a surprising amount of people rocking egos with clearos on them while here, so it's nice to feel like I'm not alone vaping on the streets :)

What's your full setup with the Vamo, Devrij? I've just ordered a stainless steel one and would like to know what works well with it. I know I need 18650/18350 batteries but that's pretty much it!

Yup there will be plenty of pics of it when i get it done, the guy is away for a month on holiday so will be a while yet, But the Poldiac will be painted with certain parts highly polished, the AC9 will be painted to match the Poldiac and the drip tip will be highly polished to match.

And a question to Majnu, what is that drip tip, looks awesome

Also got another set of 'pants' the tube covers for when i get it painted, as they will be the parts that are painted, so if i ever sell it or get bored i can change them easily. (whoever said vaping is cheaper hasnt seen my bank account lol i have a serious case of shinyitus)
Granted a lot of the stuff i have bought has been on the cheap side of things, but i do seem to buy a lot of the same thing for some odd reason.

1x Poldiac from MMVapours, 1x SS Vamo V2, 2x Black Lavatube, 1x Chrome Lavatube, 3x AGA-T2's, 1x VH Genesis, 1x Bulli A2-TM and A2-T downgrade kit, 4x Evod BCC's, 2x Ego-C (need fixing) 1x RSST and newly coming an AC9 v1.3, god knows how many sheets of mesh, meters of wire (50m of ribbon lol), meters of silica wick and ekowool aswell, not to mention the constant buying of different juices, 12 18650 batterys and 6 18350's, 2 Nitecore i4 chargers lol im hooked.

I have several vivi novas, various colours with/without sleeves. I use it in mini mode when I'm at work or on the go (fits nicely in a shirt pocket) and big mode if I'm at home or out all day. Since I discovered the technique of doubling over the legs on my nova coils I've been really happy with them. Seems hot legs were the cause of my problems.

Thanks Devrij. I'mm thinking of going for an rsst at some point but I'd like to have some cheaper atties, not only to try out but also for backups.

I'm not sure what fitting is needed for the Vamo. Would you mind having a butchers at this and tell me which one out of the drop down box will be suitable?

Also they come with 1.8 Ω, 2.4Ω and 2.8Ω cores. Which one needs to be used with the Vamo?

Fitting for the vamo? The vamo has a 510 threading and can take some (but not all) ego style atties. I'd suggest to people buying a vamo that a 510 to ego adapter is worth having and cheap enough.

You can use any ohm attie on a vamo with good results. The vamo lets you put the power up and down to your liking. The main reason we have different ohm'ed atties is because back at the start of vaping we had fixed output of volts on a battery so to change the experience you picked different ohms. Lower ones being hotter and higher ones cooler when used at the same power output.

Thanks :) I forgot to put the link in my previous post. I'll get an adapter but will this one fit straight off?

It's the Vivi Nova 3.5ml transparent option from the drop down list on the right.

Also are there any other good attie options for the vamo at the budget end of the scale?

Yes the Novo will fit. I'm using on on my Vamo right as I type this that is the same in. I can't really recommend any budget atties. I've not bought any in a long time. I've been using rebuilables all year with Novos now and then.

Great stuff. Thanks again :)
I think I'll go ahead and order it. Now that you say any resistance core will work, it's good knowing I'll have two spares with each Nova.

Oh another thing, are those tanks a flush fit with the Vamo?

-edit- ignore that! It's a couple of mm narrower than the Vamo. No big deal.

It looks good on a vamo. As said, resistance isn't a big deal when you can change your voltage/wattage. I still tend to prefer a lower res coil though.

Sleeved nova on my vamo

Blimey, how long is that? Looks like a rocket!!
I assume it's in long mode with a 18650 inside it!
Thanks for posting the pic.

After a bit of googling, it seems like there have been a few upgrades to the Nova and it's now v2.5. I can't tell from the pictures in the link I posted whether it's 2.5 or an older version.

I fancy mixing some of my own E Liquid, got an email earlier with 20% off.

Just confused on what to order, planning to make a 70/30 mix.

Im guessing the unflavoured PG is Nicotine, But my question is all are selected as PG.. On the image where I have selected the drop down which should I choose?

Or would I have to buy some more Unflavoured VG

It is, yeah. It looks bigger in that pic but I tend to use it in mini mode when I'm out. 18650 means I don't have to change the battery though. An 18350 is usually running very low by the time I leave work so I tend to swap it out for the drive home.

E: gilbert, I would choose AG (what we also call VG, but aqueous glycerin is diluted VG as pure VG is too thick to vape) so you would have your platinum ice (nicotine in a pg base), a bottle of straight PG, and then a bottle of VG (called AG here). Then you are free to mix and experiment until you find your zone. VG/AG is just watered down glycerin, because the undiluted stuff is too thick to vape.
