It is about 20cms including the drip tip. I'm using the same setup. That is it is 18650 mode. Novos have pretty long drip tips but you can fit a smaller one if you like. I sometimes use one of my steel drip tips on it. Vamos are a bit big to use all the time if you ain't got a bag. They don't fit a pocket in full sized mode.

It is, yeah. It looks bigger in that pic but I tend to use it in mini mode when I'm out. 18650 means I don't have to change the battery though. An 18350 is usually running very low by the time I leave work so I tend to swap it out for the drive home.

Would turning the battery Vamo off between vaping sessions not help preserve the single 18350? I've just ordered 4 Efest 800mAh so I suppose I could just carry around a spare for the day.

Ah, thanks. I didn't realise drip tips were interchangeable. 20cm is quite a monster. Would probably get some very funny looks on the tube with that in my pocket!

Any ideas which version of the Nova Fasttech are picturing?

Turning it off doesn't make much difference but might help a bit. Drip tips on some things are and others not. Most use '510 drip tips', not all drips tips are 100% the same. Novas have a biggish hole (we're talking a tiny difference but enough) so some drip tips are loose fitting in them. I have some drip tips that don't fit snug in novas.

I can't even get it in most pockets. It tend to fall out if you try. The Vamo with nothing on it is 13.5cm btw

The novo in the picture looks like the standard one, it was the first one and was called the Vivi Nova. The versions have all basically been the same on the outside only the coil head has changed. Versions are a bit complex as each vendor has decided what they are called so very site has a different name for them.

Thanks Crowort! I'm assuming the 13.5cm is with the extension tube.

I was getting a bit confused about the Novo versions after looking at different website. Thanks for clearing that up.

Have you used a Nova like the one in the picture. If so, how does it perform?

Sorry for the question overload!

Hard to say. I'm willing to bet the heads you get might not be the ones pictured. The ones in the picture have the silicone cap type I like (if I get the spike caps I just use my old metal washer in them and take the spike out) I find the spiky ones don't have enough airflow to stop them burning.

Nova for me are about being fill and forget. They aren't the best for anything else imo I can get better taste, vapour and throat hit from my rebuildbles. The rebuildables aren't as portable or easy to use. Still very useable atties and do what I want them too. I've been looking at bottom coiled stuff by Kanger (and others) but hearing a lot of leaking / spitting stories. Might get a protank to try.

Thanks. From what I've heard with Fasttech, their descriptions are sometimes not quite there but the picture of the product is what you get but you may well be right. It's going to be a while before the Vamo gets here as it's coming from China so I've got time to explore possibilities. I might look into that Protank too. Someone posted a pic of his with a Vamo a few pages ago and it looked quite nice.

Looking good CF, still not a fan of that milky white tank, once i get my AC9 and get it working, ill send you a trust and send you my frosty tank if you feel like your going to keep the RSST for a while.

Looks great Combat! Are all the new RSST coming with the milky white tank or do any retailers still stock the frosted?

Knightstalker, if Combat doesn't need your tank........:)

Combat, have you had the chance to compare the RSST to the Protank? If so, what improvements did you notice with the RSST setup?

I'm gonna have to pick up one of these RSSTs to see what all the fuss is about.

Me vaping at the vatican

More vapor production.

Better taste.

You can experiment with different coils, wicks to your liking.

Slightly warmer vape temp, kanger is a very cold vape.

Obviously don't have to buy the kanger heads anymore!

Better built device all round I think.

Looks better on my Vamo too.

That's all I can think of! Lol

:)

So better in every way!! Thanks for the comparison :)
Definitely on my shopping list for the Vamo!

Looking at it, you will need some E-Juice, as it doesnt appear they are pre-filled, as for what type of juice, would you prefer a Tobacco or Menthol type taste

2 of my most used sites, no issues and good quality juice, plenty of flavours to try and reasonable prices for a 30ml bottle
http://www.safercigs.co.uk/Hangsen_Flavours/cat705284_1492388.aspx ukvapers 10% off
http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/search.asp?types=E-Liquids+%3E+30ml+Bottles Discount code ecr69 10% off

Edit massive mistake, forgot to mention the nicotine level, probably best to start with 18mg, unless your a heavy smoker then depending on what you smoked and how much might need to go higher, or if your a light smoker then a lower nic level might suit you better, let us know that and we can advise you - But it will all depend on your body, some heavy smokers cant stand 18+mg nic and are on 12 and below, so with that in mind, 10ml bottles (found on the left side of vapeescape) in different strengths might be a good idea.
