Good shout on going to the shop. I find a 30ml is more than enough for me to go a month. I use the tank, and I think its great for starting off and long term, clearos have had a few issues with cracking on Tue current batches so maybe ask about that.

This thread has got me seriously thinking. One of my colleagues brought a cheap and nasty chinese ecig into work the other day, which I borrowed for the day (consumable one shot cartridges). It didn't give enough vapour out or give me the enough of a throat hit for my tastes, but the nicotine hit was definitely there.

I'm a 20-30 a day rollie smoker at the moment, and the prospect of vaping really appeals to me, from both a financial view, and with a view to giving up. Totally Wicked is about 35 minutes drive for me, so I'm thinking about heading over there on Monday to have a 'play' and try some of the flavours out, but a little 'independent' advice would be appreciated.

I don't want to spend too much as an initial outlay, but I guess I'd like to make sure that I'm stocked up on juice and bits for at least a month (which presumably will still be less than fags/baccy). I've been trawling their site, and I like the look of the 510 XL clearomisers and a couple of batteries rather than a starter kit, but I guess the decision will be made in the shop.

How much juice would you recommend buying to last 4 weeks or so? Presumably I'll be wanting 12-18mg strength?

Any other pro tips?

Grab yourself a 510 Tank starter kit to begin with, and a pack of spare atomisers (maybe a couple of LR ones as well so you can try them out).

For 4 weeks, I'd go with 2x 20ml bottles of juice (or if you can get a "pick 3" selection type of thing that would be perfect), 18mg strength. Should last that length of time easily.

If you smoke 20+ a day you will absolutley need more than one battery, so one can be on charge whilst one is in use.
Depends on what you go for. Yes if you go for a cig style, but if you go for an 18650 battery type then you'll be fine.

My 2000mah multimod lasts me a few days

30ml for a month. Wow, on a recent poll on ukvapers, 2-3ml was the average per day.

seems pretty good, i got a 10ml bottle of menthol with my tornado tank last week and still have a good quarter bottle left, getting through roughly 1 cartridge per day,

and yes, just noticed the siggys thing, website is still working fine, so not sure whats happened lol

Small heads up there are seven GGTS SS's left at e-cigz left. They won't last long. VV and stealth units will be available for it soon aswell. :)

Right monday ill be buying one of these, So from totally wicked, ill be getting one of the Tornados (unless something just as good and cheaper is about), but anything else i should add to it?

I'd buy it tonight or you'll lose the 33% discount that ends at midnight

Can't believe Id never heard about this before
I currently go through 12.5g of Golden Virginia a day, what would everyone recommend to replace that - I rarely smoke cigs as Im a roll up man, so Im concerned about missing the hit on the throat.

i'd personally recommend the Tornado tank this

great little kit, everything you need to start off with and very good value considering, as ^^Devrijj said above, buy before midnight tonight and you'll get it for 24 quid :D

I'd recommend spending a wee bit more for the kit with 2 batteries and atomisers so you don't have to wait for your batter to charge if it runs out mid-day (eg if you forget to charge overnight), or at least just buy a spare battery

get a 18mg + juice and you will get a good old hit .

I've another question now, regarding mixing (and the fact that I'm a skin flint :p). If I bought for example a 36mg juice, can I simply dilute it 1:1 with glycerin to give an 18mg juice? Presumably this will 'half' the flavour too? What is the most cost effective way to mix?

/edit - It helps if I google first :p I'm reading up now :)

So this would be better than the starter kit???

Also, why the tank system, I presume there are advantages, Im curious as I was expecting an e-cig to look like the real thing? So Im guessing there must be a reason they look like they do?

Bigger battery is definitely more important to me. Tank is much less hassle and gives better vapour and hit, but main benefit is more consistent sucking and less changing of carts. Wouldn't go back myself. There's a starter kit with 2 batteries so worth getting imo. You can start off with one if you're on a budget and charge at night, but you'll definitely want a second batt if you like it as much as the rest of us lol

They really worth that much? You still need a battery and atty to go on it as well right?

They all sold out within an hour again. Are they worth that much? Yes. :)
They are all hand made and pieces of art.
Really looking forward to mine, SS GGTS#370. :D

(Will post pics and gloat when I get it. :p :D)
