Right my shopping list so far..only has the tornado in it, due to the fact ive got no idea on the strength id like, so it looks like ill try it out and make my choice on the liquid after that, im guessing its the E-liquid id need and not the flavours right?

Scrap that, its the Tornado Kit with 2 batteries, and a 10ml bottle of E-Liquid in 11mg (playing it safe) in minty choc chip lol - and i guess i can re-use the carts that are supplied with the starter kit yea?

You can, buy some clear tanks and a pack of silicon caps, makes refilling and using much easier

The starter kit comes with a variety of strength prefilled tanks in a pretty awful tobacco flavour, but they'll give you an idea of the strength you need (8mg, 11mg and 18mg iirc)

The clear tanks are better because you can see how much liquid you have left. If you run one dry you get a bad sort of burning taste. You can (and I do) of course reuse the black starter ones too. Offer ends at midnight I guess, so would be 30% more expensive tomorrow
 
Yea im just working out if the pre-filled carts are going to be enough to find out what i want...hmm ill buy the 11mg 10ml bottle, i cant see myself using the high strength one to be honest.
 
Start on 11 and see how you go. I was smoking about 15 Marlboro lights a day. I found the 11mg liquid was just too weak for a satisfying experience, so I bought some 18. I've now moved down to 11 and find it ok after a month or so
 
Bit annoyed totally wicked have brought out a new 510 device that uses 'tank' cartridges with a bigger automatic battery only a short while since buying the older 510 kit!
 
Anyone want to sell a tornado kit or shall I just buy one?

Getting increasingly frustrated with the 510 battery.

EDIT : Screw it, just ordered some CE-2 XL clearo's for my 510 which will purely be set aside for when I go out, looking forward to not messing about with carts anymore. Also ordered a tornado starter purely used for lazy vaping around the house.

Well ive missed out on the big discount, tried ordering earlier and my card failed lol, funds from thursday still havent cleared into my account :( So its looking more expensive now, not happy.

Edit - at the price its going to work out at i cant justifiy it now lol, i had the total for what i was going to get at bang on £60, now its £60 just for the double battery kit :( im not so sure the £35 is as good value as the £60, hopefully someone can shed some light on this.

Even £60 is 8 packs of fags, or 10 days worth at 15 a day....
 
Aye but i smoke tobacco, which costs me £12 for 50g, and that lasts me a week, of around 20-30 rollups a day lol so you can see its a little bit more than my weekly spend.
 
Oh yea that's the main reason I popped into the thread, its just the cost now, its around 70-80 with fluid and empty tanks now, I'd struggle to do that plus leave enough for bills and food this week, At 60 It was ideal and that was for the dual battery kit, fluids and empty tank things. There's always the cheap kit I guess then I add to it, I dunno.

Im in a similar position, this actually works out more expensive than smoking.
Initial outlay around £120 so far but that is with 100ml of nicotine solution that I can mix down..

Im happy to pay more if I can help my lungs out a bit, not smell of smoke all the time and improve my fitness a bit. for me the key will be the cycle to work - I do 27 miles a day, and although I have no problem with it, it has made me realise that my lungs are not in good shape, and that ride will be my benchmark for whether this whole vaping lark is actually any good..

It's a lot to fork out for, but if you get the right PV from the off and a nice STRONG liquid it will take over your rollie habit. Your be using that £12 to buy a bottle of juice that will last longer than a week. Christ... 2-3 weeks.

Don't buy from Totally Wicked neither. Bloody rip off unless they have a big sale on and even then the prices are "normal". a lot of their juices are done by Decadent Vapour, you can get their liquids from UK Eliquid.

A good starting tobacco juice if you smoke rollies is this OK Smokey Golden Virginia. Go for around the 30mg mark. I had 38mg and it made my head spin, tooooo strong.

You want something a bit different, the Vermillion River Kentucky Premium Blend from UK Eliquid is the best one i've found ever. Has a nice tobacco smokyness to it on the inhale and a distinct caramel / vanilla on the exhale.

And don't be put off by strange pipe bomb shaped devices. They hold bigger batteries and hit better and when the batteries do eventually go, far cheaper to replace than a cig-a-like. Infact the batteries last months longer anyway.

Almost forgot...

Can get 50ml bottle of liquid for £15 delivered from these folks http://vapourworld.co.uk/ , that lasts aaaaaaages.

Damn - could have done with this last night as I just ordered 100ml of the 54mg nicotine liquid from TW. Oh well, thanks for this info as at least I know where to go next and you have given me some flavour ideas as I was struggling for that - cheers

Having looked around it looks like getting 100ml Platinum Ice 54mg for £44 from TW is actually a pretty good deal. Most other e-liquids are 36mg in strength and even at the non sale price of 60 quid, it is still not a bad deal bearing in mind I will be mixing it down by half..
Can't wait for my order to arrive now - as a heavy roll up smoker it will be interesting to see how this goes..

Well, I got back a short while ago from Totally Wicked's shop in Darwen. The shop itself is a little unimpressive (it's an office strapped on to the warehouse), but all the gear is on display and the staff are ace. I was there for about 90 minutes talking with Tony and Eugene and trying various bits and pieces and in that time probably 15-20 people walked through the doors - Surprisingly busy for an internet business. The service is excellent, the advice offered seems sound, and the guys working there put a great deal of faith in the product. Very pleased I made the journey!

Anyway, I'm now the proud owner of a Tornado Tank starter kit (in brushed silver). I also picked up 20ml of Menthol juice and 20ml of RY3 which should hopefully last me a good couple of weeks. I'm using one of the starter menthol caps at the minute (I really don't find the standard tobacco flavour too impressive, so I went for menthol), and I'll load up one of the spare tanks with RY3 for later methinks :p Very pleased with overall, it's just worlds apart from the 'ecig' I tried last week :)

I tried the Titan too, but preferred the amount of vapour coming from the Tornado, and with the superior battery life, I was sold on it.

As an aside, if anyone is thinking of heading up to the shop to pick up a kit, I have a couple of instore vouchers (£15 off Tornado starter kit, or £10 off Titan starter kit). These can only be redeemed in person though (and they get me free juice if they're used :D)
 
Ok ok, Now were getting complicated, The shops Arthur put up have multiple types of E-cigs all of which are completley alien to me, only reason i was going for the Tornado was it looks the easiest and people said its good lol - OK so really what im looking for, its the best type that wont break the bank to start with, and at least some people on here that know about it so i can always revert back here to get advice from people i trust.
