Bought some more stuff to experiment with

Pfft that's 50-60 quid I've invested in this already. We'll see how I get on when I take my first vape once it has all arrived
 
Don't think anyone would disagree with you Starkiller - thing is though, you've got the wrong thread. it's a vaping thread, nothing to do with smoking.

Do a bit of research. Just for your info, there's no Tobacco, tars or carcinogens involved when vaping.

He/She/It appears to be one of the indoctrinated who equate anything to do with nicotine with tobacco and smoking. To them, you could be administering nicotine in its purest form directly to your brain with zero other additives and you're still going to die a screaming, agonised, cancer-ridden death for your weakness.

I don't think it's worth the effort. Best ignored in the interest of keeping the thread on-topic.

Talking of which... My plan when I get the kit is to to use the boge cart on the battery along with a drip tip... I take it that I don't have to clean out primer from the boge like you would with a conventional atty.

Am I on the right lines or have not done my research right ?

Also filling up the boge ... Condom method best ?

If you (used to) smoke 10 a day, that'll pay for itself inside of 4 weeks. :)

Yeah I'm usually a 10 a day smoker but over the past 2 weeks it's got alarmingly out of control probably due to day trading and developing at the same time. I'm coughing my guts out - smoking probably a min of 15 a day.

Bought a pack of 20 this morning and am going for yet another smoke :mad:

Now I'm getting impatient - want my kit - probably will have to wait a few more days though

I think cartos do contain a tiny bit of primer, but I've never noticed it in the same way you do with an atty.

Yeah, condom method is best for first fill, then just top off by dripping onto the filler from the top when necessary.

Note that you'll still have to remove the drip tip when using a cartomiser. Dripping straight through the tip like an atty will just send the juice straight down and out the air hole. :)
 
Kit arrived this morning ! woot

Perfect timing really as I'm almost out of the pack of 20 I bought yesterday and the FTSE gave me a bit of a heart attack this morning. It's charging at the moment but I really fancy a toke.

I've cleared out the primer from one of the attys and boy is that stuff NASTY !

Playing the waiting game. Thank you gents for all for your help
 
Been vaping for almost 2 days now and didn't need to buy a new pack of fags :)

Pretty pleased with the results especially with the Boge LR. Buying the tobacco flavours was an obvious mistake, I love the menthol despite not being a hugh fan of menthol cigs.

So lets talk ejuice, I've got some more coming in from ecigwizard, LF and paradise vape - anyone of you got recommendations on juices and suppliers ?

well done on the 2 days :) i use cloud9 which has some nice juice there RY4 is very nice :D FlavourArt from LF is aslo very nice you just need to be carefull as it is very concentrated compare to most ejuice concentrates a little goes a long way .

That's about the nicotine content of 3 whole cigarettes, in every inhale :/

Yep, a major F-up on their behalf, tbh. Someone could have been, and still could be, seriously harmed because of their negligence. :(

SubliminalAura - you sound just like me regarding going on a Menthol kick despite not really liking Menthol cigs. Pop over to Liberty Flights and grab a bottle of the DV Mentholyptus.

LOVE that stuff, and first thing in the morning a blast on it from a Boge LR is AWESOME. It does have a bit of a funky after-smell on the exhale, though, but the flavour is worth it. :)
 
The box elder thing is a worry. It does make me think about why the base I've been buying lately is so much cheaper than the stuff I bought before. Is it because they aren't testing batches to make sure they are at the stated strength?

My understanding is the Box Elder is illegal for you to buy anyway? You have to have a licence to have great than 75mg base don't you? Saying that I'm sure loads of people buy 100mg juice.

BTW I think I am vaping correctly now. Lots of vaper and flavour coming through - even the silver and gold is coming through good :D

Can't wait till tomorrow I've got fruits and sweets incoming :)

BTW Do any of you vape in public ? I'm shying away from it :o
 
Vaped all the time in public. Lots of people asking me "Is that one of thos funny electronic thingies?" followed by a friendly chat about them :)

Was a great ice-breaker, much to the girlfriends annoyance :p
 
Can anyone here help me find the right cartridge?

Im using the Tornado T atty, i just bought some eGo Type C from Liberty Flights but their diameter it too big to fit in the atty. They also do a type 'A', maybe these will fit?

I didnt want to go to Totally Wicked because they will charge £2.99 for p&p where Liberty Flights is free.

These are the ones i need
