Nicotine strength is measured as mg per ml. So you are using 14mg/ml nicotine strength, and the tornado tank can hold 1.6ml of fluid.. so 14mg/ml * 1.6ml = 22.4mg per tank.

Though it's easier to just go with ml.

So there is normally between 1 and 1.5mg of nicotine in a ciggy. So a pack of 10 would equil to roughly half a tornado tank.

OK, so I am now the proud owner of a Bulli A2-T Mega :-)
First things first, I have also ordered the A2 to tank update kit as Im finding the mega tank size too big for my liking and want to drop back down to the 1.1ml size..

Initially I thought I had problems as only my 1100mAh battery worked with the Bulli, both my 650mAh batteries failed to do anything. This would appear to be the centre connector in the battery unit, I used a paper clip to work it up a bit and the 650mAh batteries started working..

Things I like - it is a good smoke, im loving the throat hit, though flavour could be a bit more and vapour is lacking, though that could be the number of coils on the wick, or my mix. I don't have the experience with this device yet to say one way or the other. I love the idea of varying the vape experience by altering the coils on the wick, which leads me to one of the things I hate..

The wick! - the fibreglass wick they supply with it is horrible, fold it 3 times to make a wick and it just starts flaking away to nothing. Now some of this is me, my wicking skills are non-existant, but I have had so many failed wicking attempts, one of which completely melted my battery, the push button just disappeared and the smell was horrible. I think it happened because I pushed the feeder wick down too far so the atomiser wick was touching the screws or something - lesson learnt!
The wicking is fiddly, but this really is my early impressions, Im sure that in a couple of weeks I will have no issues as I get more practice.

Im still going to carry a spare clearo with me, as Im paranoid about the wick failing while Im out and about as I have no idea what a failing wick behaves like, so don't know when it needs replacing yet. Im guessing that is something to bear in mind, as pre-prepared wicks are not something you can really do in advance, so always have a backup plan.

Overall i really like it, there is a vertical wick mod that I will try once my wicking skills are upto scratch, but for now I am happy with the smoke/throat hit..

things to do

Work out why there is so little vapour
Find a decent wick supplier
Find a stockist for the element wire
experiment with variable voltage batteries

Blimey, that sounds more hassle than it's worth.

At the other end of the spectrum, I recently bought a Garry Dibley Passthrough to use at work, and it's bloody marvellous. Fill carto, attach carto, enjoy.

are you using a proper 5v 2A USB supply or mains 5v ?

Hey, i thought the PG liquids were suppose to last longer than VG? Just got some 8mg Strawberry PG from Liberty Flights and a tornado tank gets used up much faster than the VG.
Definatally get a lot less vaper from PG.

Maybe i got it the wrong way around?

Maybe its got something to do with the tornado tank? The PG is much less gloopy than VG, maybe it goes through the tank faster because of that. I hear people have trouble with VG and the tank but i didnt really have any problems with hit/vaper.

I know you are supposed to allow doublers to stand for a week or two after receiving them to allow the flavour to develop properly, but should I also be allowing my own DIY mixes (doubler and nic juice) to stand for a similar time before using them?
Some of my DIY mixes with new flavours just don't seem to taste of much at all, certainly not what's listed on the bottle. I'm hoping it's not a problem with the flavours as everyone else seems to rave about the supplier and the specific flavours that I've bought, more a problem with the way I'm mixing them or using them too quickly.

Flavours are 100% PG and I'm mixing them 50/50 with 36mg 100% VG nic juice.

I am amazed!!
This vaping lark has stopped me smoking after more years than I can remember :)
Still on the hunt for my perfect juice tho. I like the Rok original and virginia. They come in bottles that have an extended neck which is easy to fill a tank. I tried their blackcurrant eugh! not again.
Grizwalds 666 reminds me of bacardi and coke
9 days solid of no cigs yay!

Rock and roll bro. After ages on a caramel and coffee mix I'm back onto a quite raisiny tobacco mix that's very "freshly opened pack of cigarettes". Composed of dv tobacco, but I'm tempted to drop some caramel in to sweeten it up a bit :)

Hi guys, haven't posted for a while because I have had no issues and have been loving my Tornado battery + Smok Dual Coil cartos. Still searching for the perfect liquid, I'm not ready to give up vaping just yet but I am 100% sure a real cig would make me vomit now :p

Has anyone experienced any low flavor/flavorless liquid? I kind of like the dry taste you get from a carto on the way out, when the flavor dies down a bit. Can't consistently get that though, because the vapor/hid diminishes too. I've tried to mix my own/thin down premix but it just tastes rank tbh. I don't even know how to describe it...

Can anyone give me any advice on the ego tank system and DIY mixes?

I've purchased some DIY mixers (PG) and am mixing them 50/50 with VG nic liquid (as I heard 50/50 was a good mix), but get the feeling that it's too thick for the tank system. Using a premade Dekang liquid in comparison is so much nicer. Smooth and no effort to vape on. More taste, more vapour and more hit too.

Should I be looking at adjusting the mix by adding some PG nic juice into the mix?
Maybe 50% flavour, 25% VG nic and 25% PG nic?

Anyone else have any experience with these and homemade mixes?

Thanks.

I'd assumed that I wouldn't like the taste of cigs anymore from what everyone says, but I still like them, they taste nicer now that I can taste them fully again :).

Weird thing is that nothing else tastes any different, only cigarettes :p. The only other difference I've noticed since I started vaping a month and a half ago is that I don't have to clear my throat anymore.

I decided to try a Smok Dual Coil last week, since my last order of Boges started to taste burnt really quickly. I have to agree with people that say they need 4v+, at 3.7v they don't come close to LR single coils :(, which is a shame because I liked only having to top them up once in the morning. Should have some more Boges in the next hour or so when my postman decides to turn up :D.

Can anyone suggest what to get with the Riva 901 kit ? http://www.liberty-flights.co.uk/product.asp?id=83

I wanted to add a tank and a drip tip for easy filling - any suggestions for a noob here would be appreciated.

Also is it recommended to clean out the primer from the atomiser before use.

And to finalise my shopping cart - What strength liquid would be required for a 10-15 a day B&H smoker.

Sorry for the list - I looked at this a year back and have forgotten most of what I learned

using a bauway 306lr on my ego battery! lovely!

I've tried just about everything going, and settled on 306's a few months back. The Bauway is a particularly good 306, but to be fair to the other brands I've tried, they've all been great.

Any reason for a 901 version? If it were me, I'd be going for the 510. This has more options for further down the line when it comes to connecting different atomisers and cartos. If you still wanted to try 901 stuff, you'd just need to buy a 510-901 adapter.

With a kit, I'd get a pack of Boge LR cartomisers.
A driptip.
Some liquid. Try a few 5ml bottles in different flavours and strengths, get a feel for what suits you before you take the plunge and ordering 30ml bottles.

Tanks - I don't rate them, but the best I guess are the type B's.

For the atomisers, give them a blow onto some kitchen paper to get rid of the primer. Then add your E-liquid and atomiser/carto/tank
