I've not really looked much into the KF4 past learning that you have to faff about to change the airflow. Might take a look again at building up from components, in a few months time, when the optional parts are released. But for now I'm more than happy with the Squape R Nano.

So. Kayfun 4 is £122 at C9V......

If I wasn't about to get an Ubertoot I'd consider it. Its a lot of money for what is essentially still a Kayfun......

Im in the same boat. I do want one but its an ugly 3.1 with far too many bits to it. I have the chance of a rose v1 for £60 so I may just get that intead.

On a side note, 10 days and still no spectrum order. Ive ordered from 6 different juice outlets in the last week alone and have received all of their orders. Eciguk sent it 2nd class recorded and I still got it the next day. At this point I dont care what the juice is like, they wont get any more of my monies :(

Looking for an atomizer recommendation

I seem to have either problems with leaking and or dry hits i don't really know where to begin or where to buy stuff for my RDA Genesis clone.
The ones i've tried so far
Kanger protank 2
Kanger Protank 3
iclear 16
iclear 30
iclear 30s
Nautilis Aspire BDC (the large one 5ml?)

So far the Aspire has been my favourite due to holding a lot of liquid and being able to adjust the air flow easily.
The downsides to it are it's messy to fill always seems to gather e liquid round the seal which i guess is a given and secondly once i get a dry hit it seems that the BDC coil always gives dry hits after that no matter what the wattage is.

FYI i'm using a itaste mvp3 and i vape around 4.4 no higher on the old itaste vv stick i used to use 3.8 v
So looking for either help or solutions to my problems or a new tank for around 30-40 area.

Thanks guys

Get a kayfun 3.1. You won't have to mess about buying coils and its just an all round better vape. I found on my old protank if I went above 4.1 it wouldn't be able to keep up and burn very quickly after that. Get a kayfun and you won't look back.

Have you considered a Beyond Vape Silo tank? It comes with 2 drip dips of different bore diameter and works with Aspire BDC and the superior Aspire BVC coils too. Check it out and see what you think. :)

The Kayfun is a rebuild able though isn't it?

where can i buy wicks/Kanthal/cotten/japanese cotton etc and what size grade etrc do i need if i bought exactly a Kayfun 3.1 or clone? would it not be worth trying my genesis clone if im going down the route of rebuildables?

Do a search on the bay for micro coils, they can be had really cheap & also some Japanese cotton thrown in too, for less than £10 that will get you sorted for micro coils on the rebuildables.

Start off with the 1.5 Ohm coils.

Then if you enjoy it start making up your own coils etc :)

Cheers all

Dom:

Beyond Vape Silo, Aspire Nautilus / Mini, Aspire Atlantis, etc, all good 'clearos' (you buy new heads/coils rather than re wicking it your self like Kayfuns etc.

If it were me, I'd go for the Silo as its just a nautilus but better looking, or the Atlantis for them sub ohm clouds . ;)

If you want to get into rebuilding you should look at a Kayfun Lite Plus the 3.1 is older, has the annoying filling port. But you will need wick, wire, ohm meter, few tools etc.

I never got on with Gennies, mesh just didn't do it for me. Ko Gen Do (Japanese cotton) or even regular organic cotton on the other hand... ;)

My vamo v6 came with two 18350 batteries 900mah, and today arrived two 18650 5000mah batteries that I got for 4 quid or so off the bay, what a difference they make! the small batteries would last hmm, a hr and half of vaping before needing charging (using one at a time in the vamo v6), and this big battery iv used it for 4 hours its not even dropped down 1 bar on the battery meter on my vamo! amazing.

Also iv gotten used to top filling my kayfun 3.1 now, only loose hmm one drop or so when I fill up now, I tend to not fill it as much and it doesn't leak, does mean that I have to fill it every hour though, though that's better than my old protank 2 mini that I had to fill every 15 mins lol.

Just been checking it out nice to know i can use my spare Aspire coils will have a shop around and see if i can find it any where cheaper than £29.99
or perhaps just start with some BVC coils for the Nautilus and see how you get on.

So not to burn the wick I stick to:
1.6ohm @ 3.9-4v
1.8ohm @ 4-4.1v
Thicker juice needs a bit more pressure to help draw juice into the wick, either middle hole works for 60vg/40pg.

H cigar clones are pretty good. They different to genesis atties and are by far the easiest to build. Just buy some kanthal and a big bag of baby's cotton wool balls from boots for £2 and you good to go. When I first started I bought 30 pre done coils off a guy on the auction site for £9 and 6 month later I've still got some left although I do my own now

Dear diary, I got the Sigelei 100w and a Mutation X dripper today and holy ****balls, dem clouds... :D Seriously....

It vapes fine, but it's not quite sorted yet though, as the Ohm reading is jumping about a bit on the Sig with the MX.
Built a quick 0.8 dual coil, but it jumps from 0.4-0.8 odd.

Tried it with the Kayfun first and that stays solid at 1.6 as it should. Btw, this really has brought the Kayfun to life compared to my MVP2. Warmer vape with more flavour and cloudage fwiw.

Currently using these batteries, so I'll wait until tomorrow for the VTC5's to get here and do a proper build and test then.
Haven't gone past 20W or so (~14W with the KF) yet with these batts and can't imagine what kind of madness would require anything approaching 100W.

Ok so i might have gone overboard to get the best of both worlds i ordered the Silo
my reasoning is i have 10 aspire coils still to use and didn't want to waste them.
I then saw the mention of the pre made coils and wicks and that got me interested in the kayfun 3.1 so i bought a clone and pre made coils at 1.5 Ohm!

Hopefully i'll be all set next week thanks for all the suggestions i'll let you know i get on with both setups.

just 1 more question the only liquids i tend to use are the cheap fasttech liquids and switch2ecigs

i'd like a compromise more so on price rather than flavour 30ml for £10 is a little expensive for me does anyone have any recommendations for a more budget e liquid 40ml for £10 or even 50ml for £10 sorry if that sounds a bit specific but i'm quite a heavy user and tend to go through 5-6ml a day but don't want to start making my own due to laziness if im being honest.
