He means, get the kit, and instead of just "quitting" use the e-cig ("vape", short for vapour/vapourize was what he meant to say) as your first option, but if you REALLY want a cigarette, have it. I ended up going straight down to 1 analogue cig a day (my bedtime smoke was always the most important) and after a few weeks that bedtime smoke started to taste so bad that it wasn't hard to cut it out completely. I just found myself preferring my e-cig. The first couple weeks are all adjusting to the nic strength, finding your rhythm etc, then it's all plain sailing.

The tornado tank is a good starter, as it's very straight-forwards (fill tank, take a few dry draws to get it going, then puff away). Recharge overnight and away you go. I do recommend having 2 batteries as a minimum though. You could get by on 1, but 2 is just easier (and less worry!). Hope you get on well with it mate. I'm currently puffing away on a nice coffee and caramel mix I made up.

Cheers :)

next Question, best place to get it all from?

Totally wicked do kits with the whole lot ready to go. They've got a forum too if you have any other questions more specific to their products

Got a couple of Platinum Tor Tanks on the way, one each for me and the missus!

Quite looking forward to using it :)

Let us know how you're getting on.

I've just ordered some mega tornado batts from TW. My current 3 have served me well for nearly a year, and I think they might be past their best. Dual coil cartos really like a full battery so hoping the megas will be an improvement

Well im still puffing away on my Ego-C getting highly annoyed at them getting clogging up and cleaning them, So with that, TW have a Yoyo on the Torpedo/Lavatube Variable voltage thing, bagged a full kit (1 x Torpedo 2 x 2200maH lithium cell batteries 1 x 2 cell battery charger 2 x 3ohm 510 bridged atomizers 1 x Chrome finished drip tip) for £41 from £75 this morning with a ego adapter, so will be here with me tomorrow so hopefully i can give it some extra volts and stop the attys getting clogged - As it appears its not hot enough to burn away most of the fluid, allowing the coil to get caked in the stuff which isnt pleasent when it burns like that.

Well they arrived last week, the missus and me started on them Saturday in earnest, must say they are rather good.. only had 6 rollies a piece on Saturday and Sunday, easy at home though, as I could keep on vaping when I liked. However at work I can't :(

On number 7 today, the missus only had 1, so well pleased for her. And a step forward for both of us, as usually I would smoke loads at the weekend, and a fair few in the week :(

Mint Choccy is my favourite so far :)

I have been doing some research to cut costs (been using pre-filled cartomisers) and I think this will all work together but, will this lot work with my SD Keyring battery?

http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/boge-510-standard-resistance-(5)~145
http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/menthol~56
http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/coloured-aluminium-drip-tips-(510/901)~122

I don't need anything more, do I?

Any recommendation on some liquid would be good as well as I am stuck in a menthol rut at the moment. :)

Did this all work together for you? My SD Keyring arrived today and I think I can make the switch with this device, so I'm in the same position and looking at buying replacement cartomizers, liquids etc.

I was looking at:
http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/sd-keyring-prefilled-cartomisers~272
As it's the only thing that I know will fit. I'm still a bit confused about all the terminology and apparatus involved with this!

I got a lavatube on the yoyo for a quid more than you did.
Not really getting on with the bridged attys. Too leaky and burny, so! I'm using my LR dual coils. Now I know that they will only fire at 3.7v but I'm getting so much more vapour and flavour with the lavatube. my tornado pass through must have been knackered lol. have got a few DCC's left so will get some HR cartos ordered soon.

Well I have not got round to ordering it myself, but a friend at work who has the SD has and he is saying it is a much better vape than the pre-filled one's. He has some different liquid though but says it will work out a lot cheaper in the long run as you get much more for your money.

I actually emailed them this afternoon to check the compatibility of all of the above items and if the response is good will order tomorrow. I will let you know what they say. :)

Cheers for the reply - being a typical smoker I'd jumped the gun as I needed to be sure of having a nicotine supply, and already ordered. If I made the switch and ran out......
Cartomisers Boge 510 Standard Resistance (5) Black
Coloured Aluminium Drip Tips (510/901) Black
10ml Bottles Menthol 24mg (High)
10ml Bottles Vanilla 24mg (High)
Cartomisers SD KeyRing Prefilled Cartomisers Menthol

I'd been doing some googling and I think they all fit - the spare prefilled carts are there just in case ;)

I found a discount code of 'ukvapours' for 10% off too :)

Does any buy from Liberty-Flights? Ive been buying from there for a year and never paid p&p, when i went on to get this months fluid im getting a p&p charge. Its only 89p but thought it was odd since ive never had it before. Cant find any info on new charges. Free shipping was the main reason i stuck with them, still a lot cheaper than other places if your only getting small stuff.

Yeah I've stopped using LF a while back... Think generally their prices are a touch high but you do get some bargains....

Whilst I'm here ... my batteries are dying. I'm still vaping 3.7V and was thinking of this

http://www.cloud9vaping.co.uk/epage...d/Products/EGO-T-55XL/SubProducts/EGO-T-55XL-

but am open to suggestions ! Any recommendations ?

Funnily enough, I was in the same boat (3 batts that were over a year old), and just picked up 2 1000mah tornado batts. For some reason I just don't like the button on the Joye batteries. Either way, they're the bees knees. They seem to keep an even voltage longer, and keep going for about 2 days (even though I now spend all day at my desk vaping :p). They are a bit longer, but that doesn't phase me. I've gone from having an e-cig to an e-cigar is all (*esp combined with the mega dc cartos)

Loving the tornado tank so far :)

Got all the makings for DIY mixing coming tomorrow :)

Good man, home made is the best way. Just watch you don't mix it too heavy on the VG side as the tanks don't feed as well with really thick liquids. 50/50 is a good place to start. I used to vape nearly 100%VG with the tanks (still do but with cartomisers) and it was fine, but it's the general consensus that too much VG can cause feed issues with tanks.

Hi Devrij,

How much did you get your batts for ? My starter kit with 2 batts has lasted me since November but is now not retaining charge

I'm currently toying with the idea of the ego-T and ego-C passthrough all in one. Trying to find a steel one for as cheap as I can :D

Probably worth the extra few quid and hopefully I'll be able to use them with Boge LRs
