Absolutely the worst advice you can ever give to anyone about quitting. Really. It is "a" way, not "the best" way. Plenty of people want to quit, but can't. Plenty of people have themselves fooled thinking they don't want to quit (or to be more accurate, they are fooled into thinking they enjoy smoking), when in fact it is their own mind lying to themselves just so they can maintain the nicotine cessation.
 
I was smoking at least 30 roll ups a day,until i gave up 3 years ago this april 2012
just stopped with no help,it's the best thing i have done.
 
Stopping is the easy bit, keeping stoppped is the hard bit.

Yes indeed, st00pid me gave up for nearly 3yrs, had a weird dream about roll-ups one night (had never tried roll-ups previously) so I went to the shop to try 1 and have yet to quit smoking the damn things :confused:

So, I noticed Liberty Flights finally have the Riva batteries back in stock (the black versions anyways, they always had the other colours I think), so I can finally get the starter kit for my mam :). Annoyed that they've reduced the battery size a bit though (750mAh to 650mAh), but it's still a decent battery for the price/size (unless someone knows any better ones? Not interested in the keyring one, and others seem a lot more expensive).

Now the problem I'm having is she wants juice that tastes like cigarettes, or like the disposable e-cigs give. I keep telling her that she'd prefer other flavours, as pretty much everyone who vapes does, but she's having none of it :(. So, any one recommend a flavour that actually tastes like a cigarette, not the smell of the tobacco before burning? Or like the disposable e-cigs if anyone's tried them?

Two things:

1) spec me a new battery for my mega dc cartos, as my ancient tornado batts could do with replacing and I feel like trying something new. Maybe a variable volt mod?

2) where do people get their RY4 flavours? Or do you mix them yourself?

Realt tabs is quite ashy. Try that

Unfortunatally thats what every smoker going through the swap has to go through. Get her something cheap, they all taste foul. Make sure its the right strength so at least even if it does taste like puke she will still get the nicotine high to stop her from going back.
 
Quick update on my Vapir Oxygen. It's been highly reliable except for the cheap power supply that I've switched to a quality multi volt dc adapter.

Excellent piece of kit and will vape herbs at up to 400f to perfection.

Vape on.

Cheers, I ended up finding a few from Liberty Flights forum though, as I prefer ordering from there as they seem a lot cheaper than most places, when I've looked for the stuff I've wanted anyways :). Plus the House of Liquid ones were sold out :p.

Should arrive tomorrow, so will see then how she likes them. I think I've persuaded her more towards the idea of giving other flavours a go, she still thinks she won't like them because she doesn't like menthol cigarettes (I don't know why she thought this was relevant considering how many different flavours there are, but meh :p), but I should atleast be able to get her to try a couple of different 5ml bottles next time along with whichever tobacco one she likes most incase she doesn't like the random flavours.
 
I won a liberro realis starter kit with 30ml of juice from E-cig reviews
it comes with a neat little pcc two batterys and 6 cartos.

Right, bring this back from the dead sort of, Been enjoying RY4 a lot recently, C9Vapings RY4 is quite nice, although some batchs are thicker and stronger than others, my last one was like pee, very thin and didnt taste of much nor smell for that matter, So this week headed over to Ecigwizard and picked a bottle of FSUSA RY5...well dear god..the liquid is pretty much the same colour as black coffee, the smell is a rich caramel type, but the taste...oh..my..god, what an unusual taste and so far im not sure i like it, its even harder to describe than RY4, and due to this being a PG/VG ratio of 50/50 compared to my RY4 of 100% PG its a lot thinner and vapes differently.

Im not sure if its because i stuck a new atty head in my Ego-C or what but its using a lot of juice aswell, already down 2 tanks and ive barely used it lol Im hoping the more i vape on it the easier it will get to live with.

On the Ego-C front, well i love it, i had a Tornado-T before hand and was sick of messing with the attys to make them work, adjusting the wicks etc, In the Ego-C just pop the atty head out and you can see straight away how much wick is there and how dirty it is, flat screwdriver and pull the spike plate up gives you great cleaning ability to keep them going, ive only just this week bought a new pack of attys, as i burned out 3 of the others (too much cleaning i think) and the other 2 were weak.
The only downside to the Ego-C, is the atty heads, quality control is lacking here on the wick side of things, some are too long others too short while some are not in the correct place but a simple trim and pushing/pulling the wicks sorts this out.

So yea all in all pretty good, apart from the fsusa ry5 that is.
 
Funny you mention it actually. A friend of mine got some ry4 (titan stuff from TW I think) and I thought it was great. I got home and realised I had some tobacco, caramel and vanilla flavours so I tried to make my own. My tobacco flavour is the kind that smells like unsmoked cigs so I ended up with sweet raisin smell with an overpowering vanilla aftertaste! Not good at all.

I don't want to go back to buying premix but can't find any ry4 flavouring that is any good. Any recommendations?

Still on mega dual coils myself and can't fault them. As long as your battery has the juice to power them anyway

Hi, very interested in this, smoke about 30 a day, rollies unless I have been on hols :D

Can someone recommend a decent starter kit, been looking at the Tornado Tanks to name but a few, any good?
