i'm using 1000mah atm and it just about lasts for the work day, but i carry spares anyway just incase. I guess higher volts with drain it quicker tho.

I did see a youtube review that i interpreted as saying that the twist could be better than the lavatube in some cases as its less advanced and doesn't undervolt itself if it thinks the atomizer is too low resistance so you have more control.

Ps. The last thing i ordered was a DCT and its works so much better than any of the other cartomizers i have tried and i know this isn't even the best available so no idea what was wrong with the other ones, i was using them properly but getting nothing.

Right I've been out the market for a while still using my tornado tank with green cow. Is the tt still considered one of the best? Any new ecig that is now as popular and that I should try. Reason I ask is I need a new atty for my tt anyway.

The new thing is dual coil tanks. the tanks are big and hold loads of juice, which feeds into a replaceable dual coil cartomiser. Haven't tried them myself, but everyone raves about them.

Should plonk straight onto your tornado/ego battery. You could look into a variable voltage device like the twist or lavatube if you want to try out something different as well. I'm going to give the LT a try so I can crank up the voltage, but also for the better battery life and consistency.

Got my first kit this week having only used the disposable ones before. Went for a ego t 900 battery and Vivi Nova tank. Really liking it so far but the tank is a little large for taking out but also wouldn't mind something bigger for at home.

So thinking about going for Vision 2 cartomiser for taking out with the ego and getting a big battery mod for at home. The Lavatube kit looks very interesting as does the Bombshell mod. What are people's opinions on these two devises?

I find my kit just gets larger and larger, but I would rather have a chunky PV that vapes well than a small inadequate one. Maybe pick up some cheap DC cartos for on the go? I use the Smok mega DC cartos and they make a nice cigar size with the bigger ego batteries.

My safercigs order arrived today..

Twist
Got a 1000mah twist - brilliant, improved things no end and i haven't fully figured out what voltage to use atm, just using a chart and sticking it at the middle voltage for a given resistance.

If your debating whether to get a twist, i would say go for it.

Vision Ego Rainbows

Also ordered 2 vision ego rainbows, they work really well, best vape i've had so far i think, downsides are you need to keep an eye on the wicking, make sure it doesn't dry out, and the major downside, incredibly fragile, seriously just broke one putting the ecig down on a hard desk, top has snapped off, tank cracked and leaked everywhere :(

Might have just been bad luck or me being a little heavy handed, but they are fragile it seems, worked really well though, would buy again and just be more careful next time, definitely wouldn't survive at work though.

Considering the fragility, I'd be more worried of in-pocket breakages. Wouldn't want one just cracking open in my hoodie or jeans pocket. It's the main thing that's always kept me away from tanks.

ViVi Nova's are a step up from the Vision Ego's me thinks.
Get the V2's. Not much different to the V1's, they have a slightly different nipple on the top and a slightly bigger opening hole, under the top. Therefore slightly better flavour. Also they returned to using short wicks.

I got two for the missus a couple of months ago, thinking one would break after a short while like the Vision Ego's, though both are rock solid still.
Also they are rebuildable. Win, win.

Another thing is depending on the mod you are attaching it to, you may want to sand down the centre pin on the connector.

Here is a pic of SWIMBO's now defunct Vision Egos, next to a ViVi Nova for comparrison.

Better still, if you can splash out on a lifetime atty, go for a DID. Carol's Short-DID, is on the way from Greece now. :)

Ive been using the tornado 'all in one cone' atomizers for quite a while now. They tend to last at least 6 months if you rotate about 3. But when they do go its at least £8-£10 + p&p to get a new one. Ive seen the newish ego-c attys, where you just replace the atty not the whole cone. They are only £16-£20 for a pk of 5.
Does ayone use the ego-c ones? Do they last very long? Ive seen a few vids of how to easyly replace the wick.. as long as you can get your hands on some thin steal mesh. In the long run they would be for more cost effective, but not if they dont last very long.

Any users out there?

This is what I was afraid of, I would end up getting more and more kit. I thought building my own package rather than going for a pre made kit would stop that lol. I'll hold off getting anything else until I need more juice so I can research what will work best.

Don't worry, it's more "shiny syndrome" than anything else. Thank god I wasn't like this with cigarettes or I'd be bankrupt by now! :p

Vivi Nova sounds cool, what kind of atty/coil does it use?

You get three differently Ohm'd coils and wicks with each Vivi Nova.
They simple screw in place. Plus they are rebuildable. Pretty sure there are a few vids on youtube showing how. Excellent bit of kit to introduce yourself to rebuildable atties.
They have the CE2 style atty/coil.

This will give you an idea of the style of atty.

Pretty sure that is the V1 in the above tut, the v2.5 is out now.

Also in the tut he uses NR wire, I never bothered when rebuilding them.

I changed from ego-t's to ego-c's awhile back and they are not only more economical, they perform better as well imo, also no need for blowing out as they don't flood / leak like ego-t's do.

If you change over to the c's you will need a cone / cover thing to screw the atomizer into which are about £9-£12 depending where you shop.

Liberty flights looks like £26 to get started with cone & 5 atties.

If your using 3.3v you probably want the LR version as the SR's aren't great at 3.3v

Wow, didn't realise they were so cheap. Is the wire/wick cheap as well? Suppose I'd have to get two for different juices (usually have at least 2 flavours on the go). Think I'll pick up a couple when I get my LT

I use the long pass through battery, not sure what voltage they are. Do the new cones fit the tornado (ego type A) tanks? Would be a shame to waste them.
I was looking at TW, they are doing the ego-c starter kit with two complete machines and 5 attys as well as a wall charger. Its at 25% discount so cheaper than liberty flights atm.
