Poll: The Vega Review Thread.

What do we think about Vega?

  • What has AMD been doing for the past 1-2 years?

  • It consumes how many watts and is how loud!!!

  • It is not that bad.

  • Want to buy but put off by pricing and warranty.

  • I will be buying one for sure (I own a Freesync monitor so have little choice).

  • Better red than dead.

They snuck in a disclaimer saying something about price changes. Shady behavior like this likely to come from the top? Always liked Lisa Su but this is a really dumb move.

Lol,you do realise the more noise he makes the more people watch his videos and the more money he makes.

This often makes me think of the UK and USA. You wonder if the UK (state-wise) has really been a good friend to the US in going along with everything, always. Sometimes it feels like Russia is a better friend, ironically, standing up to them and telling them some truths about their actions and hypocrisy.

We're getting a bit OT, but an interesting historical note on what you said, when the Confederate States of America seceded from the USA, Russia denounced them instantly and refused to acknowledge their legitimacy. Britain and France both considered recognising the CSA (and by some accounts intended to do so) until the USA gave them an ultimatum that it would treat such action as a declaration of war. Historically speaking, prior to the end of WW2 (when the USSR became the baddies) Russia was a better friend to Britain than the USA was and a better friend to the USA than Britain was.

You rarely see videos from Barnacules these days...

That was excellent. Cheers.

Interesting anecdote, thanks Uber.
