The Walking Dead Season 3 (contains spoilers)

dont know why my post was deleted lol i wasnt saying anything about the show

Lol yeah most of the posts that were deleted didn't really contain any spoilers at all, simply posts like "good start to the season", "great episode" and as you said some weren't even about the episode.....

Also, ty again to Nexus for the heads up and coverage on another great tv series :)

No problem :)

I'm not sure saying you enjoyed an episode or thought it was good is a spoiler, nor do I see the problem with discussing things in spoiler tags.

If the rule is to be enforced it needs to be done in each thread otherwise it's a pointless endeavour.

I have removed so many posts due to breaking the rules.

Remember you cannot discuss aired shows if they have not aired in the UK yet.

Stupid childish rule, you should go to the Dons Room and seriously talk this over.
Spoiler tags is where it's at.
Or do you think a major TV company will take OCUK to court or something?
Just doesn't make sense why this 'rule' still stands .

Perhaps we should create a new thread and have a poll where every forum member can vote for either "keeping the current rule" or "getting rid of it"?

Although I think we all know what the outcome of that would be :p

Tis a bit silly. guess it all boils down to not talking about how to pirate and such and such. just basically a sub category of that rule

Eh? The thread title says 'contains spoilers'.

The reason I clicked on the thread was to see a discussion of the US airing of the show. That was the whole point of me wanting to read the thread.

There are legal ways these days of watching shows before they air in the uk. You can rent american vpn and watch american legal tv streaming websites. Well i think that is legal. Like hulu and american netflix.

So we have a window, every saturday and sunday we can talk about the show. But come monday we have to wait till next saturday. :D

Revolution for example, it hasn't even been picked up by a UK network but we have a 3 page thread.

I don't know of a series called Revolution. I cannot know about each and every show aired.

I only know about the Walking Dead as I'm excitedly looking forward to S3.

If you can't enforce the rule properly among every TV show thread, then loose the rule IMO. Yes I know it might not be easy keeping up to date with every TV show thread and airing times etc. however, as I said, "if you can't enforce the rule among every TV show thread, then loose it".

Don't break the rules in the first place then. Your don't murder people because is it wrong and illegal; downloading shows is also wrong and illegal.

Have some self respect.

Take the Blinkers off mate. Self respect has nothing to do with it ... In this day and age most people who download TV programmes early. Pay for TV licences, Pay for Broadband, Pay for Sky/Virgin possibly. It's not as if they are getting something for nothing by downloading them early. It's a TV series so they are not taking revenue of a Cinema money making machine for instance.

As has been said in other TV threads you Dons and the powers that be need to come to some reasonable agreement where this subject is concerned. It's not going away. In fact the more TV shows that come out of any quality the bigger your problem of moderating to your specifications is getting and is going to get in these type of threads.

PLUS ! as has been said in posts above. there are ways to watch American releases that don't fall under the umbrella of "Illegal"

The world is a small place now, you should run your forum with that in mind and cater to an increasing mass of people that use the internet to it's potential of making a large world small. As it is your being very small minded where the set up for discussion and enjoyment of TV programmes released prior to UK release dates is concerned.. IT'S CAUSING Dissension in the ranks and you only have to browse the TV show threads to see it happening. So as suggested. Take off the Blinkers and have a look what's happening before the peasants revolt, Storm the castle under torchlight and attack you all with pitchforks and Scythes..

in my Opinion of course.

self-respect......

comparing murder to downloading a TV episode.........

jamesblade has pretty much taken the words right from my mouth in response to your post ace modder.

Also no offence, but that murder reference is stupid. So you let pretty much 70-80% of the other "murderers" get away with it then (using that logic)? :p

Plus where have I and the others stated about how we were able to view the episode early? None of us have said anything and has been pointed out, there are legal ways of watching the episodes.

Besides it doesn't matter any more:

I'm working on the sub-forum idea so watch this space.

Love the way posts get deleted because a mod who actually watches the show decides to run with the not aired in UK rules crap, check the SoA/Dexter threads or the load of others, stick to one rule or don't :/

Comparing watching unaired television shows to murder? Really?

Basically just +1 to what jamesblade posted.

Also; nobody is discussing how to get the content, they're discussing the show in spoilers for people that haven't seen it too. Ridiculous.

OK watched the first episode (via proxy) and although it was a great episode although i have a few questions! At the end of the last episode it was dark, the group were arguing and had split up.

Next it starts at daylight with no further conversation from the night before and everything is fine! Also blondie who ran off and was saved by michone is now ill and we saw michone hood down. When were we introduced to the character and how is blondie ill?

Just seems a lot has happened which has not being explained.

Oh yeah, noob move taking the doctor/old man on a hunting mission :(

Ace modder coming in to delete entire page of posts in 5....4......3......2......1........

:p

We can't discuss it yet due the episode not airing in the UK yet and the rule is being looked over.

All I will say for now though is, 8-9 months later ;) I expect there to be flashbacks (well I hope there is! :p)......
