US: The Walking Dead Season 3 (contains spoilers)

Sounds right and exactly what i was thinking, the way the Gov turned on Merle seemed weird so i reckon he's going to let the brothers escape so he has an inside man in the prison.

Didn't Merle tell the Governor that Michonne was dead. She's then turned up and 'killed' his daughter and stabbed him in the eye. Explains why he's so quickly turned on Merle.

I was thinking this tbh rather then having a man on the Inside so to speak.

Still can't get my head around how Daryl got caught though!

This season so far has been a big improvement on s2 for me, February can't come quick enough :-)

dint he run our of ammo or gun jammed when they where all closing in?

I wonder where this will go now...will they go down the brutal comic route? I know they say they won't, but they certainly seem prepared to push the boundaries.

Daryl was all by himself and was facing like 6-10 people, plus there was a lot of smoke so it would have been very possible for someone to have sneaked up behind him and knocked him out. True about what the Governor said, but they did kill like 3-4 of their people so probably wanted him alive after that in order to torture him.

And as said above, he probably ran out of ammo, after all, they always keep saying how low they are on ammo, but in the end they seem to always have enough :p

It's interesting how they made Penny his daughter in the series. Don't know if anyone read the recent book that describes the rise of the governer character... but it's a bit different. Worth a read for those that haven't.

Really enjoyed the series so far (better pacing than the second). Watched episodes four, five and six last night; seven and eight are on the cards for today. :)

I suppose it was to give the viewer a better understanding of why he has kept her alive, explaining that it was his niece and why he would keep her alive would be pointless in the series as you never hear anything about Philips brother who was by far worse than the Guv.

I think there's still room for the Guv to not be who he says he is. We still don't know much about him.

Nah, he's the Guvenor for sure, loses an eye, zombie fight games, zombie relative he's keeping alive.....I was just trying to point out that running the whole Guvenor back story would take a fair amount of screentime.

Would love them to show it though as the book is awesome. I'm talking about The Rise of The Govenor book that is seperate from the comics and tells the back story of the Guv, it's a great insight into why he's so ****ed up and you actually feel sorry for him all the way through it.

I don't want to spoil it too much though as I want you to read it, if you like the Guv storyline/character, read it, it's awesome!

Can't wait to see what happens to Merle, they aint gonna take him back after what he did to Glenn, and he's definitely burnt his bridges to the governer by lying about Michonne.

I expect he will die rather dramatically somehow, involving Daryl.
