***The "We need another meet in Summer 2013" thread***

i went on a photo walk with my new line manager only a week after joining the company and had a cracking time so if permitted i will be up for this easily.

Here is what me and my line manager did. we walked from monument and crossed the london bridge and walked to southbank and all the way to big ben. We then finished off at piccadilly where we went our seperate ways. took us around 5hours to that walk. we had nandoes and coffee along the way.

If your up for something similar, i'd be on it. put me down for B.

And if permitted, want me to ask my line manager if his up for it?

I know the last one I think they started at tower hill station or something. Walked down and across tower bridge. Then down to dim sun for lunch, and possibly borough market. I think there was some other stuff as well..

For food, if we did somewhere around Covent Garden for photos, we could try out the new Meat liquor that is there. It's a bit of an odd restaurant and not something you can reserve, you tend to have to stay and wait, well at least did with meat liquor, with such a large group it may be better picking something where we could book. Also, still like the idea of paramount, but cost definitely would put a lot off.

I would do Regent > Chalk Farm > Camden.

There is tons and tons of stuff to photograph; wildlife, people, market, cityscape, urban, building, hipsters, etc

Heard a lot about these hipsters but never seen them in the wild. Would be a great opportunity by the sounds of it!

We kind of did this last time. Started at London Bridge, walked around the city (Gherkin, Walkie Talkie thing, Leadenhall Market, etc), walked back over London Bridge along the river toward Tower Bridge. Did Dim T for lunch, then walked back towards London Bridge where we hit up Borough Market. Then the remaining few walked along the river towards to Waterloo.

I don't think we'll be doing that again but hopefully you can still come if we do a different route :)

Nice. i dont mind too much on the route we take so long as it is same kinda format ie walk from different places taking pics and overal enjoying and sharing our ideas, banter and gear lol

The problem was that last time the temp outside was like 2 degrees or something silly chilly. This time that is not likely to be the case :p

ahh yea i think u went in the winter? why lol nows the time to go!

after experiencing it with my line manager, i can see why others love this sort of thing

I am in. I suggest London again - Brick Lane, Spitalfields Market area hasn't been done yet. Could even venture towards Stratford before/after as the QE2 Park, formerly known as the Olympic Park, will be partially open. So far the 31st is good for me.

They might have left by late August, but, if someone who lives in London could check, how would people feel about taking a train over to Knightsbridge at some point and see if we can get a photo of some of the Exotic Hyper/Supercars imported in from Dubai for Summer?
