***The "We need another meet in Summer 2013" thread***

How about just going to Borough Market to grab food and drink (and photos, though last time I did so there, I got annoyed stares) and find a spot on the South Bank to sit down? Cheaper and solves the problem of booking.

Gonna suggest Spitalfields and Brick Lane again as location, just because I haven't shot there.

We went there last year and I seem to remember Robbie having a little hassle with some bloke! :D

Oh in the market? Because my camera was pointing at him he wanted to have permission asked but he was talking quite rudely so I asked his permission, took the photo then deleted it later.

That will learn him :p

This will creep up on us. Does anyone know what we're doing on the day?

I have a cheeky request. Anyone got a short fast Canon-mount lens I can borrow for the day? I don't feel like standing across the road to take pictures with my 135L f2.

I'll be missing this unfortunately due to an ill timed holiday.

However - any London based toggers ever want to go taking pictures in the evenings. I am definitely keen!

You can borrow my 17-55 f/2.8 if I sort out a 35 f/1.4 in time. If that's fast enough.

Maybe not for the day, but I have a sigma 50 you can borrow for an hour or so if I can borrow the 135L :p

I've wanted to get some time with that 135, so I feel like this could be mutually beneficial....

I think we need to get what we're doing sorted as well though... It's only two weeks away really...

Nottinghill is 25/26 btw, so not going to interfere/make for an interesting subject.

You'll LOVE the 135L :)

That's what I'm afraid of.... I feel like I'm going to have issues if I try out the Sigma 35 as well. Between the two, I see the month after the meet being a very expensive one for me :(

I don't mind whose, but would like to try one out at the trip, if someone's willing.

If I can make it, and that's a big if, you're welcome to give mine a good rinsing.

Welcome to try the 135 as well.

Hurrr hurrrr

I believe you'll find its a combination of mincing and motoring tom-foolery around Rainham :p

Tom-foolery in a Ka is a bit of a problem :( Actually that's not true, it's a right laugh at times because of the bouncy bouncy soft suspension :p

But, yeah, that doesn't surprise me about Rainham :p
