The Weekend Football Thread *spoilers*

Whenever Man Utd lose Rooney plays crap, they need a plan B!

Leeds were decent though and I'd like to see more of their attitude in the Premier League, the little things like closing down quickly and aggressively, but following through with a challenge and nicking the ball from the opposition. In the league all I seem to see is players rushing to close down the other team and then standing a few yards in front of them, I'd like to see more tackles, as shown today it works. Leeds got in some great positions by persistence and taking back possession in Man Utd's half. All it takes is a little determination.

Hehehehehehe

Being a Leeds fan and teaching in a Leeds school it will be fantastic tomorrow...

The number of kids that support Man U, it will be amazing.

Just waiting to hear their excuses!

hahahahahahahahaah.

Not really, I said it in the summer.

United this season as have been said have been absolutely dreadful.

5 losses in the league, out of the most famous cup competition in the world in the first round with an inept display.

Whats he got right this season?

Rather than laugh, or get on my back, tell me what he's doing RIGHT this year and defend him with solid facts.

lol

The only positive I can take from the game is that Anderson is hitting some good form. There's been too many team changes, I really don't see why we couldn't have started with a stronger team and then taken them off if the game was in our control. Makes no sense sticking a back four who are just back from injury together, a midfield lacking a spark, players on each flank who kick with their opposite foot and one of them a young forward who time after time when played on the left or right has proved to be utterly useless in those positions. And don't even get me started on Gary Neville.

:D

Here's my 'excuse' if you like.

Our injury list is incredible, Fergie has done an execellent job to keep us where we are. Yes we just went out of the FA cup, but not to a poor side. Leeds actually rinsed this, they deserved every minute.

Brown really struggled today.
