maybe you should actually read up on emo, and the style they dress in becasue that pic is not anything close to emo. pfft.

firstly im just laughing at that picture and 2ndly i know what emo is, coming from swindon you have chavs vs the emos so im quite aware :) Correct me if im wrong but emo is short for emotional? I believe the idea behind music is to express feelings/opinions so what makes this so exceptional? And the way they have to be different when in fact they are sall the same is just idiotic and imo arrogant.

yes this silly emo argument always flames up... i dont know, both sides arent going to back down.. l

like i reckon all music inspires emotions, thats its job,

but apparently this isnt the case with certain people... which is fair enough, thats their opinion.

It is used as another fashion though, whether people like that or not.. obviously its a big selling point with clothes now.. and money is being made out of these social groups.

which is probably what they should be against with them breaking from the "machine"

More of a rant than a post - though I'm new to MySpace so I'm sure I'll figure it outs.

I seen a few profiles on there, is it me or is the layout seriously wrong? Yet even celebs use them :S

Emo's not reeeeally the stuff that's floating about now. It is, because people call it that, but Emo was really a scene that came after the 80's hardcore punk scene in washington dc, an offshoot that came and went.

Hardcore is forward looking, emo (emotional hardcore, it started as) was more retrospective. A lot of it's actually very good. It's really pretty much dead though now, most of the bands with the emo tag these days are nothing to do with it, and to be fair to them don't actually want the emo title really.

And yeah they dress funny. It's getting really out of hand these days.. they used to look alright, they dressed well, but it's turned into a parody of itself.

people who wear hideously tight trousers just look like they've painted their legs.

we should dress like we did in the golden years.

women wear dresses.

men wear suits.
