dont be ghey, let him live how he wants, not all emos are depressing.

well number one keep him away form myspace...that is a danger zone for wannabe emos..infact remove all use from a computer for him, he doesnt need to be tempted!

force him to listen to extremely happy music

and make sure he has no contact with girls (possible heartbreak scenario = emo)

Well emos, are very black and dark, sometimes all cut my wrists bleh bleh bleh, a scene kid on the other hand is basically very very very extreme version of emo, but with out all the crap of being depressed into grindcore stuff very heavy thrashy music, not funeral for a friend etc like emos are into, nice people i find, dress with bright colours and there always at the "scene" its just the way they act, talk etc.

common scene kid sayings "this person is a bit special" scene so much better than emo.

really hard to explain tbh.

See there being the problem I would try stop him but he got sucked into myspace long before I knew about his new found individuality!

I would link his myspace but frankly hes to angry with the world and swears too much for a family forum. He used to be such a sweet innocent child, ive seen the baby photos!

Edit: Wnd theres this girl at work who he likes who is uber emo who he thinks is hot, when really past the make up n way too much flesh on show and too tight clothes she aint all that.

Meh, they all seem the same to me, don't tend to associate myself with them tbh whatever they want to be emo/scene. I still don't understand them. Theres probably thousands of people who have the same feelings as they do but don't seem to need to wear tight jeans etc to show other ppl thats how they feel, but then again its up to them what they wear. Nah i def don't get it.

That's a totally fictional made up account of differences between emo kids and scenesters... A scenester is anyone who is part of a scene and makes it obvious...

I spent last weekend at give it a name....i have never seen so many emos in one place at one time (except for give it a name last year) i felt old, and stood out cos i do not have black hair, extra tight skinny jeans, extreme bright make up, star tatoo, stupid hair cut/coloured hair and thick rimmed glasses :eek:

Was there also (Manchester on Sunday?)
I was getting really annoyed with them, the were sitting down for The Ataris, a more "emotional" band than MCR, Atreyu or Panic! (Said emotional as in lyrics not meaning "emo")

I was at earls court. I was sitting down for the ataris, although love panic so watched them (the only band i got in the crowd for) hundred reasons, billy talent, atreyu, angels and airwaves,taking back sunday were all good and lost prophets i tougth performed reallyl well even though i wasnt expecting it!
mcr are just abit boring now, i loved them summer 2004..but now gone off them abit, although still watched and sung along hehe

ooh did ya hear about the bassist from tbs at earls court getting smacked in the head with the siners mic about 30 secs into the first song, he ran off stage then came back 2 songslater with a huge bandage round his head and blood down his face...wasnt nice! good on him for carrying on though!
