Games response for why they didnt post the game on Friday:

I apologise that this preorder experience has left you feeling disappointed however we we agree with publishers to do preorders we have very strict contracts that we must stick to.

Unfortunately as this games falls on a Tuesday release we are unable to release the game the Friday as this would arrive to early before release date and Game are not allowed to do this as per our agreement with the publishers of the game.

We can not comment on what other companies are doing as they may be under different contracts. We do not deliver over the weekend leaving only one day that we can deliver on which would be the Monday. Our delivery time for the chosen method is 1-2 business days so it may still arrive on time. As stated in our Terms and Conditions we do not guarantee the delivery as it is uncrackable and i the hands of a delivery service once it leaves us.

I apologise for any inconvenience.

If a game is released on tuesday, and delivery takes 1-2 days, then they are allowed to post it out two working days before, they have ALWAYS done this in the past with every pre order I have made.

What difference is it to being allowed to pre download a game? Hardly nothing except having the box in your possession.

Bah i havent got much hair but i am pulling what is left out , its 7.15 am and still nothing to download from GOG, i got the digital premium edition and thought 7am was the unlock time :(

Gonna get some breakfast and have a nice cuppa tea and play oblivion for a little bit longer

So is this game available in the high street shops today? If so then i'll pick it up at lunchtime. A digital download just doesn't do this game justice. It needs a nice big box to go with it ;)

Got it installed, registered online with CD Key, downloaded Troll Trouble DLC which adds another 90 mins of game play (nice and its free), seems i have to download the english voice overs , so another 921 mg to download then i am good to go ;)

On setup it selected low settings :(, so i bumped them upto high and see how it goes, looks like my 5770 is gonna get a workout today :D

I was looking forward to playing this today, that was until I started playing it and discovered there was no option to "Invert Mouse".

I really can't play this without the mouse being inverted, I've also had a look in the config files and can't see anything to change.

Anyone know if it's possible to Invert the Mouse?? it's going to be a complete waste of money for me otherwise :(

Send an e-mail to the developers and they may be able to tell you which config files(s) to edit. They may even patch it in at a later time.

You could always use a controller? Why is the inverting such a huge issue?

Happy Bday Bhavv hope your copy of witcher 2 comes today, waiting on mine aswell and just really hope it turns up :(

Just hoping my postman doesn't do his favorite trick of just leaving a 'I called' card instead of ringing the doorbell so i have to go pick it up from the main office :(

Suppose I could Email them and hope. I've always played games with inverted mouse and have done for many, many years. Maybe I'm just used to it but either way I simply can't play without out it, constantly looking up instead of down very annoying..

I don't recall a promise but I do know the 'Premium' edition is more like 'Peasant' edition...

Was removed from the page when they changed the release times. Originally buying via GoG meant you could pre-load the game and "be the first to play". Maybe that applied to Polish customers only ;). I know I'd have gone retail if the download hadn't been advertised as first access.

9 hours to go.

Witcher 1 download complete. Can't play it yet untill the postman comes with my new case fans because I can only get sound through my headphones with my pc...
