The Witcher 2 - Thread

Either way, the story is a load of balls, as demonstrated by the actual court case that ACS:Law were eventually forced to bring and the immediate dismissal the counts decided upon.

An IP address isn't a statement of guilt, so letters might be sent, but as ever, if you are not guilty then it is up to them to prove that you are. Until IP addresses are classsed as secure points and relate to the billpay and have to be secured by the billpayer, and indeed that the billpayer it 100% responsible for any information passing throguh an Ip address then it matters little.

Either do I, but if people are stupid enough to torrent games without protecting their identity, then I have little sympathy for them when they get a fright :)

Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting anyone pirate the game. I simply disagree on the manner in which enforcement is conducted.

I thought they had changed their mind and decided not to make it DRM free as originally specified, or was that an April fool?

Only copies paid for and downloaded from gog.com will be drm free, all the other copies have some form of DRM. I think it could be a relaxed form of starforce though I could be wrong.

Just finished the Witcher ....how awsome was that.

Are you able to use your game save from the 1st game? What will be pulled into part 2 from the save? The elven armour I hope!

Btw guys, Witcher 2 reviewed in PC Format and it got 92 percent. The only thing they had a go about was the AI. They said it was pretty bad. They played it down however I see this being a problem. They said that they played pre-release code and that the AI may be ironed out for release. I personally think that they should not have reviewed it in that case.

Anyway, just thought I would share.

Yeah because the AI in the original was amazing :p Seriously who played the Witcher for the amazing combat AI? They stood there and let you cut them down, anything more then that for the witcher 2 is already an improvement.
