The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Played 15hrs of 1 last year but ended up getting sidetracked. Think I'm just going to jump into 2 as I never fully loved the first one. Not played a game in a while and I also want a really gorgeous looking game to enjoy as I feel my 1440p monitor hasn't really had that opertunity yet.

Dear lord, I just witnessed that trailer for the first time.
Witcher 1 reminds me of Mass Effect 1, there is just so much to do and the overall game just goes on and on but what a ride. Witcher 2 had one of the best engines I'd ever seen even today but the game was horribly short, probably due to it being on consoles too.

But Mass Effect 1 was on consoles...

Witcher 2 was short because a lot of the content couldn't be done on one playthrough, that's the problem with distinct diverging paths :(

That £36 not looking to bad now that I've gotten NWN: Diamond Edition, Rollercoaster Tycoon: Deluxe and Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri free with it, plus The Witcher Comic aswell.

Plus I think it's worth paying just for the principle of giving a good developer money.

I don't like this extra discount for people that bought 1 and 2 on GOG either. I bought Witcher 2 special edition on launch day (boxed) and have owned Witcher 1 for years. It's basically a big **** you to the rest of their fans :(

Yep, my Witcher 1 copy was a retail jobby bought during the first week of release and I just entered in the cdkey into the url badgeruk stated. Then I grabbed the Witcher2 cdkey off steam and did the same again. Upon doing this you'll get both games for free on your GoG account as well as a LOT of additional extra content for download.

It tells you on the purchase page for Witcher 3 that you can register games bought elsewhere.

"Bought The Witcher Games elsewhere?

Simply redeem your free backup copy to add the games to the GOG.com account and get the better price for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt too!"

The souls series made every other rpg seem boring to me I hope they borrowed some elements for the the witcher 3 as the developers mentioned they are big fans of the souls games.

i really need to finish Witcher 2 and for the life of me im not sure why i havent previously. I loved the first game, the second seemed to arrive at a time when i was obsessed with other games.

Im now at a stage where im finding it incredibly hard to get into a game, i seem to have a very short attention span with games these days.

Weather is grim this weekend so far so no better time to give W2 a shot again :)

Please no, totally no, just no no no no and no.

Keep the Witcher series identity the same and just let them carry on making superb Witcher type Witcher games.
