Steam downloading now, but by God it's slow. I'll let you know how it goes in 2 hours... and I've got 100MB Broadband!

got mine off gog
2 files 1mb and 2.1gb
ran first file and installed it...installation takes a wee bit like..but gets there in the end

GOG now says I'm not allowed to have the patch :'(
I'm getting the same thing now, after getting continuous "connection failed". I'll try again tomorrow, not in any rush.
Switch off auto update and it will turn blue, click on it and you will get an 'update now' option in blue text.
This doesn't help you update as it will probably still fail like most other people, but it explains why theirs is blue and yours is grey.

it's been removed from the website now. just says coming soon.
not had much luck with GOG, really. had to download the game manually because GOG galaxy just plain refused to do anything. It still doesnt work, cant get it to install new or import folders with it complaining about connection issues. Now i cant install this patch either.
