The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

So after playing it for the first time a few weeks/month ago i am now over 100 hours in and have just started the final DLC. This is an absolutely stunning game and has had be gripped from the beginning.

The Witcher 3 has some of the best graphics and artwork to ever be released into a game. I completed the Main Story and Heart of Stone DLC, but for me the most impressive part of Witcher 3 came when I first started Blood & Wine DLC!!

It is a terrible game!

I know people who consider it 10/10 game. I can see how it could be that if all the player cares about is combat. But...it's not for me :)

Toussaint looks stunning, but it looks even better without the HUD and with the yellow filter toned down via reshade :)

I must admit some of the scenery in Toussaint is absolutely stunning.

Just starting my 2nd go through it now as I made a boo boo and didn't make the correct choice and then like a div saved over my save instead of loading it grrr.

Shame I never saw scenes like this before.
It's usually just some open field or some tiny village, but this area makes the game seem impressive.

Think I may have to throw £20.99 at gog this weekend :D

You know the main game has Novigrad, right ? :)

And Skellige Archipelago:

But even Velen with its "fields and tiny villages" has plenty to see and do and experience

Hadn't a clue hehe.
Not really looked into details of the game, but any clips I saw on youtube only showed fields & villages.
Learn something new every day (but also forget twice as much :p)

Finally found a hugely annoying bug. Can't open a chest to complete the almost final treasure hunt. Is there anyway to just spawn the missing diagram or fix the chest?

I can see the chest but it doesn't glow and is unopenable.

Nexus Mod Manager is showing no mods at all.. what on earth. My path files have not changed, no HDD changes etc.. Just loaded it up to check for mod updates and there is nothing there. same with SKyrim.. flipping heck.

Maybe a mod to enable console commands, is there a console command to spawn the item or otherwise work around it? Not sure.

So you already had Hearts of Stone and you bought Blood and Wine to upgrade to the GOTY edition or is there another way to upgrade?

No i only had the base game bought from gog for a tenner.

I bought the seasons pass reduced from 20 quid to 11.99 which upgraded my base game to the full package :)

Happy with that. Another 40 hours of witcher 3 to play through :D

Ahh right, I was looking at the prices in euros where Blood and Wine is 11.99. I think I'll do the same as you!

EDIT: I was trying to do the same as you but apparently I can't buy anything from GOG as no payment methods are enabled for my account... hope support are useful!

When i first logged in to try to pay, all the currency changed over to dollars which three me. Had to go into settings and change to pounds.

But it let me add my payment card no problem. Think i bought the base game with a cdkeys code. Bought the season pass direct from gog.

I got an email to say witcher is upgraded to goty edition. Will have a look when i get in from work.

Good timing anyway as I'm only a couple of hours from finishing the main quest now.
