The Witcher - Enhanced Edition

These are the files we should all be looking for:

TWEE_Upgrade.exe
TWEE_adventure_Side_Effect.exe
TWEE_adventure_The_Price_of_Neutrality.exe
TWEE_English_language_pack.exe

I'm trying to find individual download links but it's proving near impossible at the moment.

edit:

Got the Upgrade.exe coming down now. I'll post a direct link once I've nabbed it.

hrmm... i had auto downloads off so it shove 5 IE error boxes in my face when it wanted to try to download the language pack...

so changed that downloading language pack now (457mb wow lol)

Does anyone have a Rapidshare for the English language pack? I'm guessing there's not much difference between the American and British versions, apart from spelling. Apparently it's going to take me three hours to download it from this pathetic host that CD Projekt are using.

Edit: **** it, I'll just get it later. CBA with this cluster-**** of a release.

Can this be patch be applied to an unpatched retail copy. Just reinstalled it. Also what order do I need to install...Im hazarding a guess that I use the upgrade exe then the english lang patch.

You're being impatient: the servers were bound to get hammered. Take some valium, go to Nero, get an espresso and read some Dostoevsky so you can look all independent and Parisien. Then stop pretending, come back, moan on some internet forums and download an RPG game patch like the true geek you are.

I was very patient all year waiting for this, I didn't complain once that we got it two days after the Americans and I was very patient this morning whilst waiting for it to go live. What I'm not being patient about is that they've obviously not even bothered to estimate what sort of demand there would be for this (easy enough, since they'll know how many copies they sold) and not bothered to get decent hosting or any mirrors.

I'm sorry but if you think this is anything short of a rubbish deployment you're an idiot. Yes, I called you an idiot, that's an ad hominem against your character. Seeing as you're so willing to let them fly.

Yes, but a lot of "them" are tongue in cheek and my comment was hardly a serious one. It was directed at the fact that you [and many others] are getting so worked up over an internet traffic jam that will be alleviated in a few hours. I've been waiting for this patch for ages too but I can go a bit longer.

The developer has been magnanimous providing this at all, wait it out a bit. If things get really bad go out and buy the thing in HMV. It's not worth getting worked up over.
