The Witcher series (Netflix)

He already has gone.

Also, why are people so nonchalant abut the main characters actor changing? The Witcher isn't Doctor Who. The show is done, if it wasn't already.

At least the first one was alright. :(

It's not the first series that has replaced the lead actor and sometimes it works out fine: Spartacus is a good example of that. Plus it happens all the time in film franchises without anyone caring much. If the new actor is good, the writing is good, and the production is good then it should be good regardless of changing actor.

I'm not sure I have much confidence in those provisos panning out but we shall see.

Liam Hemsworth will not be as good as Henry Cavill in terms of portrayal and respect for the role. I'll bet my nuts on that. It's not that I even think Hemsworth is a bad actor, but Cavill was so good at bringing Geralt to the screen he IS the Witcher. It's like Arnie is The Terminator, or Harrison Ford is Indiana Jones.

The writing is not good, and can't see it getting better the more they stray from the source.

The production will be top class, but a waste if the first two are lacking.

The show is done once Giga Chad leaves. It wasn't exactly breaking any records as it stands and parts of season 2 were a bit meh so unless Hemsworth is planning on living and breathing the witcher universe for the next few years it's toast.

The reasons Cavill left are the things that sucked. Fix those and all of the problems go away!

I did not like the replacement, didn’t think he was a patch on the original actor, Andy Whitfield (rip)

totally agree, looks wise the guy just looked flabby compared to all the others :D Obviously, he wasn't just looked like he didn't put as much effort into getting as ripped as the other guys. Season's 2 and 3 weren't a patch on the 1st season or the prequal Gods of the Arena for me.

Anytime Cavil isn't in a scene this show is absolutely painful to watch, since he's a superfan it's hardly surprising he's had enough of the trash that's being produced thats been taking a huge dump on the source material.

Michelle Yeoh looks amazing as always. Is Blood Origin based off any actual works or is it just Netflix making stuff up? I've read the majority of the books but can't recall off the top of my head all of the names.

Women, asians and black people?! In my fantasy show?!
come on bro it's guaranteed to be 10/10 if the one of the far right ain't a trans daenarys then I'm cancelling my netflix sub and venting my anger on twitter
