I won't watch it again week after week he complains about how it is a singing show and how bad they are then does this, its no longer a singing show.

In response to Coolasmoo as it wasn't here when i was typing, the X-factor has lost what made it a good show a few years ago talent going through, and the crap going out i haven't been watching this years much and after this i won't bother anymore.
 
People laid Lucy at around 199-1 on Betfair. As ever, some happy and some unhappy punters on there.

A lot of crying on there as well as here.

Simon deserves a slap. He did nothing but whinge about them for weeks, you would have thought he would relish the opportunity to get shot of them. However it really is about what makes him the most cash. It is for that reason that I will no longer be watching or voting.

I will be watching I love them.

To be honest most of the acts are boring and I prefer Britain's got talent but the two xfactor shows do make an entertaining 45minutes viewing via SKY+ on sunday night.

I thought their performance of Rock DJ was as entertaining as Lucie's.

Just add that the best act by far, Rachael, got voted out the week before so I don't care anymore who gets the chop sad thing is that that wee geordie twerp might actually win it now.

How did I know simon would do something so stupid like that his a complete jerk just taking away the strong competition.
I feel so sorry 4 lucie as it must have seemed so certain she would have got through.

What a big disapointment let's hope danni gets the chance to get rid off 1 of simons acts so he can understand how it feels to get ******

its a shame as lucie was getting better as the show was going on and she so fit

Entertaining for what reason? It was not due to quality of performance because all they did was run round the stage doing what they do every week (which is to shout a song rather than sing it).

At least Lucie would sell records. You can't tell me that John and Edward have a strong enough vocal talent to sell records which at the end of the day is what the show is all about producing...a relevant, modern, talented star that the management can make a mint out of.

So for it to be entertaining, I am guessing that is partially due to the fact that they are just embarrassing themselves on national tv to the point where they have a hate campaign, so everyone loves them just because its fashionable at the moment.....or because you just like the way they look and no one sells records because of the video. They would need to be whipped into a product just like the Spice Girls or similar were, and tbh the twins have all the personality of a cabbage and possibly the IQ to match so with no talent and no personality I fail to see how they could be manufactured into a "product". Even Simon and Louie aren't THAT good.

The Twins are more likely to wind up on some kids tv channel somewhere or modelling in a clothes catalogue due to the twin thing, if they do somehow manage to maintain the fame thing which pretty much defeats the object.

Was lucie good ? Yes undoubtedly.

Do I care that she's gone? Not at all.


Look all 4 judges put the twins in the final 24 so they can't start bitching about them now.

I think it's a shame that Lucie has gone, but I don't think anyone has ever won after being in the bottom two. It's all about money for Simon and if an act isn't getting votes then they won't sell albums either, or at least not enough for SyCo to care. I doubt he bases it on voting figures for a single week either, it's very likely that he has seen the percentages for every week.

As far as the twins are concerned, he wants the extra media attention and viewers associated with them still being on the show. I've said it before, they'll be kicked off when they've served their purpose. I wouldn't be surprised if that happened in the next couple of weeks if they're not getting as many votes any more, but keeping them in over Lucie means they get more free publicity.

Tonight just confirmed that this series of X Factor is the biggest money making load of crap ever.

How often did the previous series of X factor go to the public vote? Hardly ever! This series is a total joke.

You telling me Simon who has hated John and Edward from the word go suddenly had a change of heart about them tonight? Lucie is 100x a better singer than them and should have been in the final! I don't know how all the boys got through they were out of tune or just plain terrible sounding, I don't know how they got through!

Simon should be ****** ashamed of himself, he is a money grabbing prat! He will get so much flack for what he has done tonight.

Simon tonight just pressed forward the attitude of if you don't vote they won't get through. The show has gone done the pan. What is the point of having judges then? You telling me he can't tell the talent difference between Lucie and John/Edward? I think you need to pick a new career Simon... or stop being a money grabbing prat.

ITV are an absolute joke! Padded with a load of crap on this one hour on the Sunday where the actually thing we want to see is in the last 15 minutes! The rest is just adverts and artists doing some marketing.

I really don't give a **** about what happens next.. this show has just been exposed for what it really is.

It isn't about talent.. it is simply a money maker. I am not doubting that it always has been a money maker.. but tonight x factor has really showed itself for what it really is.

Oh and I voted for Lucie all the way through the show before some jumped up turd says something.

Worst set of contestants ever. Lol, they're such rubbish. Really. To think the general public actually waste money phoning and voting for that shower.
