Thought this weeks was much better than lasts, Kings of Leon fro bloke at the end was really good :)
 
I hardly watch any British TV but do tune in to the X Factor. Don't like the new format but I'll stick with it.

One thing which annoys me is when a person who can hold a tune but not to a great standard comes on and starts pracning around on the stage. Eveyone goes all "OMFG he/she iz amazzzin" when generally they're not.

Afro man is a good example of this.

Exactly!

Same for the guy the week before. Pretty good singer but it was the entertainment factor that got him through IMO.


Another point is.. They give more air times to the people who have something to offer (the one's who get through) How do they know this? Do they dilm the "Hi, who are you" bit after they've auditioned?

As much as the X Factor sucks I do enjoy it lol.

Cant say I really like the new format of this show, old way was much better.

They also need to get rid of Minogue and Cole because both cant sing to save their lives. How they can be a good judge of what the 'x-factor' is?

They can keep Cheryl, I like looking at her. :o

I have now been forced into watching this, as all my partners friends watch it and she felt left out last year when they were talking about it. :(

I hate it, it's the worst POS on TV.

Oh and whilst I am here, what is the deal with that '17' year old from Saturday? She was obviously not 17 at all.

Personally id like to see the whole burned to the ground lol but thats me...i dont think Cole has any right to sit there and tell others that they cant sing...all she has going for her is good looks and thats about it...fyi shes released a solo single...havent heard it but from what i have read a lot of people are asking why she decided to do one as its pretty terrible but the voice synthesis that they use in the songs makes her out to be some great singer...which she is not.

As for Minogue...well at least she can sing somewhat and has had a few hits over the yrs so i dont mind her too much...its that flippin Cole i cant stand and i dont see her as attractive...perhaps that geordie accent of hers ruins it but i dont rabidly salivate over her like some do on here:p

Anyhow i watched some of it Sat night as i didnt have a choice...my current gf is hooked on it so couldnt get away from it. Having said that the lass from East London...awesome voice and that dude who sung superstitions by Stevie Wonder...he was pretty damn good i have to admit.

Felt sorry for the lass who got up there...did her thing then was told she has a great personality but her voice wasnt up to much...kudos to Cole for going up there to give her a hug as she just burst into tears...poor thing:(.

But really i just cant stand the program...other than Leona Lewis...who else from this rubbish programme have gone onto bigger and better things...Will young hasnt made much of himself as they harped about a him a few yrs ago...that lass from last yr hasnt done much herself either in the past yr or so...its just a programme to massively inflate that tit Simon Cowells head and wallet even more.

But Simon and Louis are in the music business, they are the label. They don't need to sing.

Have you actually heard Minogue or Cole sing live? :rolleyes:
No - because they can't unless they have some computer wizardry behind the microphone.

The fact that the 'good' contestants who just get up there and sing live sound far better than they ever could.

Watched some sort of Girls Aloud tour 'LIVE' at the weekend and had to turn over because it was painful. They must've been some kind of 'good' as they won whatever reality TV show they were created out of - my God! Standards must have been raised somewhat since then!

Dannii has had some hits and with Kylie as a sister something must be in the blood, but if I was Cheryl I couldn't possibly sit there week on week thinking 'that person can sing better than me'.

Nice you agree with me. ;)

I find music standards have dropped so low these days. Its more about making a fast buck for 5 minutes and looking good, than actually promoting 'fresh raw talent'.

Didn't Cherly Cole actually do it tho, as far as I remember did she not come from one of these shows. So she must have got up and sang live with the 'technical wizardy' behind it.

I've seen them recently on the tv with some show they done and they was all terrible.

Nothing that has not been seen before, take the spice girls! lol And everyone knows that Posh could not sing live to save her life!

Once again this year provides a HUGE dissapointment. A prime example..

Dominic... he came back after two years, clearly improved and probably one of the best in his group i'd say; and didn't even get a shot back in the 6 he made it to before, the kid was great and much better than atleast two maybe even three of the others in the category that went through.

The groups were running thin as it was but putting the twins through? All of the judges bar Simon, need their heads checking. They are little terrors with a huge attitude problem, nice one Simon for saying even if he got the groups he wouldn't even put them on the plane.

Go through this same **** every year lol :(
