The Z77 Sabertooth Club.

Gnollin I bought Geil Tranquillo based on your picture, I think they look like they go together well :)

Gonna assemble the desktop, any pointers ?
Do you assemble mobo with cpu and cooler outside the case ?

Yeah, assemble CPU and cooler outside of the case, and also stick in your RAM as well, and then all the Sabretooth dust covers before fitting.

Finished my build, was a bit of a challenge for someone who didn't built a pc before, but was fun.
That Gelid Tranquillo was a pain to get installed, I work construction so my hands are not that small and those screws on the left are hard to get to when tying it down.

Sorry for bad quality pic, sunny day with iphone 3.

1.Improve Improve system stability.
2.Improve memory compatibility.
3.Enhance compatibility with some USB devices.

I've been having stability issues with my new sabretooth build for the last couple of weeks. I was getting excellent performance and great benchmarks but the system would usually crash after about an hour of intense gaming. The whole time I was sure it was an unstable graphics overclock and ive been doing the extremely long an tedious process of gradually decreasing GPU clocks etc. and then further testing to find a stable clock.
Unbeknown to me it was actually a motherboard problem, either the CPU or RAM - i'm still not sure. Anyway I updated to the latest BIOS (1206) and instead of manually adjusting all of the BIOS settings (because even though i think i do....honestly, I don't *really* know what im doing in there), I just hit the OC TUNER button and let the mobo do all the work...

Ive got to say, I'm very very impressed! It auto-overclocked my CPU *and* RAM to a higher clock than i was running on my attempt and its been solid as a rock ever since! And to make things better I can now ramp my GPU clock back up because it wasnt the gfx card crashing out, WIN-WIN!

Sabretooth FTW!!

I have recently bought a Z77 Sabertooth, And not being able to run any memory in duel channel, It just doesn't seem to boot, ( blank Screen )

But when I put the sticks in single channel it's fine,

My current setup is

i5 Sandy Bridge 2500k
8Gb Corsair Veng 1600
Corsair 850HX
EVGA GTX680 SC

i only received the board yesterday, (bought of Ocuk )
Have also tried other memory still the same issue...

Any ideas guys ?

much love

That's what i am doing now... However i did try other ram and same issue. Which makes me think its irthe mobo

right done the mem test, and it was all fine.

have tried another lot of OCZ DD3 4x2GB sticks and still nothing, but when i put 2 of them in Single channel, it boots.

i think i have a dodgy MOBO :(

does the voltage look ok or a bit too high, if i drop it anymore the pc starts then just crashes after a few mins, but looking around forum it just looks high ?

looks high to me, maybe you have a poor chip though, what temps are you getting at that voltage as far as I know after 1.25-1.30 temps rise rapidly
