My grandfather collapsed in the middle of the day in the middle of Motherwell town centre. He lay for over an hour on the ground because everybody thought he was just another old drunk. He was teetotal.

I'm assuming you run a free homeless shelter in your back room then? Do you go round your road finding rough sleepers, cook them a meal and let them sleep in your bed?

I didn't call them 4 times. I called them once and they called me back three times.

Couple of total idiots here (naming no names to avoid being branded a 'troll'- the internet's most incorrectly over-used label...).

Sometimes people should just shut up and keep their opinions to themselves.
If the pillocks wish to hurl abuse at me for this post then bring it on. (I'm an adult, and can thus cope with being called names). Anything excessive or threatening and you'll just get reported...
Find something better to do with your time, in fact anything that doesn't involve spouting bile on internet forums.

Exactly. There's some idiots saying I'm inhumane because I didn't provide a bed for her and there's some idiots asking me to post pictures so the whole internet can laugh at her.

Idiocy is abundant on the forums.

Checking she's okay initially and ensuring she gets the help she needs from either the ambulance or the police is all I would do.

Letting her into your home would be foolish and I doubt the people protesting you should have would actually do so themselves.

Seriously. Next time you see a homeless person, shouting abuse in another language, possibly under the influence of alcohol and drugs, possibly urinated on themselves stinking of urine, carrying three bin liners full of more stinky stuff; invite them into your home with your family and let them play with your 5 year old nephew.
