They are Billions - RTS meets Zombie Hordes !

That makes far more sense now :) Will have another go tonight see how far I get and let you know, be good to get some wells setup like you have, I assume the hordes getting bigger and bigger then as on the easiest setting was only ever a few zombies at a time and was pretty lame haha

yup, the hordes just keep getting bigger... 10 days from your end, you get the "they are billions!" push and they come from all over

it's a real clean underwear time for your soldiers lol

haha I didn't know that, shows you that I really didn't get to far!

Looking forward to spending another few hours on this tonight now.

Do you need to survive that final wave then or final day in order to get onto the 2nd map that people keep talking about as I only have the selection of 1 map at the moment.

Sorry for all the questions :P

you have to last the full however many days, and get a score of 20% or more

so you can't do it on just the easiest settings, you need to alter them to get the 20% score

the second map is gorgeous to look at... but a lot more open... barely any choke points or natural defences

here's one of my defence walls from the first map so you can see what i mean about keeping them as solid as possible along with internal walls and defences (top right) so if when they do get through, i've got an extra set to hold them back lol

The trees will form a natural barrier mate your just wasting stone by walling them off.

i know... i was going to build an extra saw mill and hunter cottages around there to expand to the right a bit more for that stone and oil... just didn't get around to it

Nah it's not as fun if you just reroll maps. Part of the challenge is playing what you're given and making it work. Yeah you might get rolled early, but it's good practice.

Map 4's generation is pretty much always bad, so it's good to get used to making the best of what you have.

Lets have an awkward moment where I say something about player A deciding what player B likes to do in a single player game.

Unless you meant yourself in which case congrats at finding enjoyment there.

Was just given two doom villages on one map. Didn't know that could happen :o

I can top that, imagine sending your scouts out and finding a doom village to your south, east and west, all in quite close proximity so the only option is to look north, which is heavily zombied.

Where is the fun in rerolling until you get a perfect map? Why not just go into the map editor?
