Very nice, I'd have one of those 2nd hand.
I used to own a top of the range Citroen XM a few years back, which was the last 'luxury' series Citroen since the old C series. There was a lot to go wrong, and frequently it did, but when it was working it was just a superb car to drive around in - especially long distance.
I drove from Swindon to Paris in it once with 2 mates, we left at midday, arrived in Paris at about 7pm, saw the sights, kipped in the car in an underground car park, then drove home early sunday morning. We stopped at Calais for a mahoosive amount of beer/wine (about 2 full trolleys) and then drove back to Swindon arriving at midday. The awesome thing was it almost drove the same with 1 person in as it did with 3 people and half a ton of beer in the back - the active suspension is amazing, it just didn't sag at all.![]()
I'd love an XM wagon...Only two things stop me from doing so:
1, Fear that something would break that would require specialist (read: expensive) assistance.
2, I know I'd drive it on full drop constantly and end up tearing things off on cats eyes...
