Things you should have known about but until recently, you didn't.

A raisin is a dried grape.

Yeah should have known that one... I am not entirely sure what I thought it was I had just never given it any thought in my life.

Radiator is called a radiator because it emits heat lol!

I never knew this until now shocking I know but oh well!

Incidentally, a radiator doesn't emit much heat by radiation, it uses convection to heat the room, which is why if you block the top of the radiator to the roof with curtains your room won't heat up very much. Warm air rises above and operates roughly in a circular motion in the room drawing cool air to the bottom before it heats and rises again.

Makes me think underfloor heating is a far more efficient way to heat a room.

Keeping up with the evolution theme.

Mammal life forms pre-date flowers and flowering trees (fruit too and possibly seeds maybe?)

Before that, plants were all a bit crap and samey due to lack of ability to cross-reproduce.
You sound like a man of similar interests - check out 'Darwin's abominable mystery' if you have spare time. How it was solved is just

I only found out yesterday, watching a programme on the telly, that the Vax Gator handheld vacuum I've owned for over a year has an extendable nozzle
