OK fairplay, in my head I had it as pushing them through the process without a chance to really consider what was best. My apologies
Nah, I 100% agree it's awful.I forgot how depressing job applications were. Maybe I'm expecting too much out of myself.
Ha Love people like that...she started informing us that we were doing things wrong and that she knew how to run processes better.
See here!Whereabouts are you buying?
Yea, good old France. We have one bit of access around the back which we have access rights to, but it's not technically part of the property, it's a weird shared ownership thing. We don't require that though, and our main access is at the front, which is on a small road so it's all good... touchwood. Dealing with the French systems is great fun. Fun like, nailing your own ballsack to the table.Looks ambitious! My mate at work used to advise on French mortgages and said to beware of ancient thoroughfares/rights of way, as apparently these can throw up all kinds of issues late in the process. It's crazy how provincial some French real estate regulations can be - that the mayor has to approve it, but also apparently if the property is in the countryside then the local farmers can get first refusal/priority to bid on it! Nuts...
Was put at risk Wednesday, have until the 31st next month to find a new internal role. I know all the background (roles moving offshore) so it’s not a surprise as such but it does provide the unique opportunity to move forward.
So today is CV day & external applications.
One of the major problems we found is that when explaining what we needed they would say they understood but obviouly did not and would have been better for all it they were more forecoming with questions regarding the requirements. They just really wanted to please us but could have gone about it in a much better way.
Agreed.Unless the sprint was literally flawless, with out-of-the-park levels of performance, I'd still opt for doing the retro.
