Good luck buddy. Are you med reg? When I was a CMT SHO we had a few people sick so I was asked to act up as med reg at major university teaching hospital...put me right off internal/acute medicine and persuaded me to get into gemral practice.

SHO as the RMO at a DGH that's slowly shutting, just rehab and elective surgeries now

But yeah, following in your footsteps and applying for GP training after my F3
 
Woke up at 5am, last memory was leaving work after a few drinks. Was in that dodgy state where I was drunk enough to be a mess, but sober enough to brush my teeth and get into bed.

Woke up again at 10am, think I pulled it off :D

Nobody is ever too old to start a new career direction. I did it recently in fact!

If you get called for interview and want some help, give me a shout. I have always been successful at interviews and generally anything related to positive motivation, there are a number of things that if you simply never forget about them, you'll always be in an amped up state of positive mind. Have a few projects being planned out with a friend to do good things in this field so am looking forward to seeing those kick off :cool:

Yeah we've just had a walk in the local park :)
Taking him to another local walk tomorrow we do and where I proposed to the misses with the dog in tow.

Then sadly Monday is the day :(
I mean, he's currently being spoilt with all the food he's not supposed to eat normally, so he's relatively happy
