Closer to home than my current job, pay and hours not confirmed until I get the offer if it comes through - But will be similar to what I'm on currently.

PC stripped. The rebuild is going to be a lot easier than having to route cables for 4 different drives. Replaced by a PCIE SSD. Much easier. Air cooling, again, easier. Too busy to faff these days, I must be getting old.

Utterly bored of my job. However got no idea what I’m qualified to do as my job is pretty specific to my company.
It’s great in terms of work/life balance but it’s going nowhere and incredibly boring.

Tempted to go back to sales for the money but I hated the culture and hours.

What do?!

Is further study an option or learning a trade? I saw your comments in the thread where the guy's life was just mundane and you were an advocate for change. Time for an internal shake up?

I could definitely do further study, however the issue is what I actually want to do. I have no idea so can’t really do x to achieve that.

I think I just need to look at similarish roles on linked in etc and move to a different company/industry.

My current company have no interest in training me any further.

Project management (non IT that is, more oversight) intrigues me but entry level positions seem non existent.

But you’re right, I believe in change and putting yourself out there. But struggling to find out an actual way to do it in this instance.

The gf is in the process of buying her first new car and the reg document came through the post today - 69BJ number plate! Amusing but perhaps not ideal to be driving to business meetings

There used to be an orange Peugeot 106 down the road and the last 3 letters were CUM. I always found it funny that the plate wasn't ommitted, usually ones like that are skipped.
