Got in from a 12 hour day setting up my partner's first art exhibition. Hung pieces for several of her collaborators too, really nice to have a day doing manual work instead of sitting at a desk!

Everyone brought great work and lots of enthusiasm. When the exhibition opened it had a great energy, big crowd. Buzzing now :)

Am enjoying reading bits of Gibbon (vol 2: Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire). I often wonder what he'd write if he was alive today. Decline and Fall of.......?
 
I have to laugh, local indians complain Chief no good at running economy. Isnt it a fact that trade (economy funds / pie size) depends on how good the village (nation) traders are? Well, yes...
 
Instead of just paying the one amount to my CC when I get paid I've been paying £10/20 here and there this month when I've sold bits on eBay or saved some money on shopping. Realised today I'll have it paid off a month earlier than planned!
It's all coming up Milhouse.
 
Actually felt bad for the spider I hoovered up from my gym today. Thought it was a false widow, wasn’t, rescued it from the hoover and placed it back. I’ll take anything in there that can stop the widow invasion. Hope it survives. I’m weird, I know.

Not weird at all! I love spiders and hate it when I hoover them up by mistake! I used to have a beautiful tarantula, called Rosie.
 
I had a near run in with a black banded brown snake on the driveway edge where it lives the other day. I decided to live and let live too.

I’d not touched a TIG welder before 2 weeks ago and I’m getting some decent-ish welds. All on Aluminium. I’ve also not had a welding course, ever :D

Here’s my last picture, I’ve figured out the start now so that’s pretty good as it wasn’t in the picture and my next obstacle is the crater at the end. But we’ll be building stuff in no time!

I was 2 sniffs short of a touch today: left wanting. I lost my car keys and hunted 5 hours in vain.

E. Im possibly about to call a locksmith tomorrow - about 250$aud + for a new set in .au
