Incredibly chilled.
Tbf i i forget mine sometimes but always keep them in the car ,so if i have a basket i will carry them (tough work with a big lidl basket) or use a cardboard box and obviously recycle it ,or wheel the trolley to the car..Anyone uses brand new carrier bags have more money than sense. Bin bags are cheaper per bag, bigger and tie them up properly.
Some people still buy bags each shop visit. They must be wasting £105-130 a year based on 10 bags per week.
How many weeks of grocery shopping is that?
It is very wasteful. I have a couple of reusable waitrose bags as their handles don't hurt my hands when I walk back home.Anyone uses brand new carrier bags have more money than sense. Bin bags are cheaper per bag, bigger and tie them up properly.

Flipping work laptop has been huffing and puffing for 26 minutes doing **** knows what. Between company antivirus, Windows itself and the Office suite (Teams), it's just constantly loaded down.
It's a fast machine just crippled by crap software choices. I hate it. I did a tactical reboot because I'm in the office tomorrow and this is what I get
All too familiar. I find it ridiculous that we have a Microsoft product (Surface Laptop) running MS operating system and MS software, and it's the most flaky/unpredictable machine I've ever had.Windows 10/11 does a lot of **** in the background - a not uncommon issue with laptops and the more recent updates I've noticed is that the memory scanning maintenance tasks malfunction and either sit there using 100% of one core constantly when idle, forever, or incorrectly trigger when the system transitions out of idle and starts going for at-least 30 minutes, sometimes longer or constantly, slowing everything down.
I've had this about 4 times recently. Sign up for Virgin Media broadband - lets you pick a day to have router delivered - pick a day - they delivered it a day early on Good Friday. We didn't get keys to the house til the day after! Why is so hard to find competence anymore. Ordered a freezer for one of our work places, delivery time 1-3 days, but no-one is going to be there until next week so I put a note on the order asking if they can deliver it next Weds, the 22nd. I didn't even trust that so I rang the company after to verbally confirm, and the sales lady actually phoned the couriers while I waited on hold and came back to me, yep no problem all confirmed.
They tried to deliver it today
I didn't even try putting 10 on my ageing laptop I just ditched 7 and put linux on it instead. Good enough for what I use it forWindows 10/11 does a lot of **** in the background - a not uncommon issue with laptops and the more recent updates I've noticed is that the memory scanning maintenance tasks malfunction and either sit there using 100% of one core constantly when idle, forever, or incorrectly trigger when the system transitions out of idle and starts going for at-least 30 minutes, sometimes longer or constantly, slowing everything down.
I'd definitely go for the sedative option! After lockdowns and being unable to even find a dentist locally never mind able to get in the door to see one finally found one earlier this year and... need bridging work and two teeth extracted. Been told I have to visit a specialist NHS clinic to have said teeth removed as theres a chance they could break off. Had to go back into dentists for multiple x-rays yesterday as the clinic weren't satisfied with the ones they were given. I've been given the option for sedation before the extractions, I'm warming to the idea...

Glad you're safe (y).Had total brake failure last night on my old Fabia ,i see this as lucky as very near home so managed on handbrake only ,was on the m25 last week so could have been a lot worse
Anyway the pads had loads of meat on them but 1 lining became detached ,grinding and no stopping followed (pumping pedal gave me horrendous grinding and limited braking),i fitted new discs and pads this morning ,need to change on a time schedule rather than thickness ,salt air maybe
would post in motors but i get blanked there ,tumbleweed every time gave up a long time ago ,not bitter though
yeah cheers i am sometimes guilty of looking on the negative side but this was a blessing ,could have caused someone else to be harmed or killed ,myself need to hang in there for fathers dayGlad you're safe (y).
