So my grandma has passed away today. My mum messaged me while I was driving home from a shoot yesterday and when I got home had a group video call with my uncle who is with her in HK. Not seen her for 3 years now just before covid, glad I went back as it turns out. Not sure what I’m thinking right now. That’s the last of the grandparents gone.

It sure does make you think about things.

Very late response to this but sorry for your loss. But remember, our loved ones are only every gone when you forget about them. I'm sure you have hundreds of amazing memories of her that you can recall All the best

After getting stiffed by my employer last Friday in Singapore, I’ll hopefully be finally getting off this accursed ship in Muscat, Oman in a few days time, if the charterer would be so kind as to confirm our voyage orders to Ras Laffan, Qatar.

Can’t wait to see how much my 21 month old daughter’s changed while I’ve been away, but it’s also tinged with sadness at how much I’ve missed.

Just had a message from my best friend who lives in Thailand.

She apparently won her 38km race which is brilliant!

Especially as it is about 32c and 90% humidity.

She is so hardcore and I'm so proud of her!

Although she doesn't agree as it's apparently those who do the 105km race who are properly hardcore!
