Went into Aldi 15mins before closing and got to the til and overheard the cashier talking to another customer…nothing unusual until he went “the thickness of the window for the space shuttle is from here to that wall over there to protect from the radiation” points to the wall 2 aisle of tils away…- 12 ft of space (12ft thick windows?!)…which peaked my attention from looking at my phone…then he went on about how the moon landing was faked and how come we haven’t gone back since….

I wonder if he is also a flat earther!

Reminds me of something I was told years ago by a Finnish Project Manager who was working with a Spanish development team. Whenever he asked when something would be ready, the answer "manana" would come back. Whilst the literal translation is "tomorrow", he came to realise it just meant "not today" !

Nah it's not a gay bar, it was a rough boozer but it's recently been done up, more like a sports bar inside now. Lots of tellys for footy etc. That glass is a 500ml glass and bottle, not a cocktail it's kopparberg cider? not the greatest but nice and refreshing in the summer, as it was a lovely day yesterday. In the background are spirits and ****** aftershock type drinks. No it isn't that expensive either, £4.20 for a pint.. which admittedly, isn't great. Probably best not to assume though :)
