A van has parked down my road with at least a third of length on double yellows. It is making passing it incredibly difficult. Anyone with a large car or bigger, forget it.

The owner needs to be told how selfish and irresponsible their parking is. Especially 5m behind van there is a car park with room for 15 vehicles and it’s usually never more than 2/3 full.

I have just experienced my first drive under the new blanket 20mph policy. Extremely frustrating.

If government expectation is that people will get used to it, I think they will get a shock at the next elections. It is such an obvious target.

Go and tell the owner then? Or can you only vent your frustration out on here where you can’t be hurt?

I’ve just been for dinner with the in laws, they’ve lived in Wales for the last 20 years or so and they’ve mentioned it’s pretty awful…

I think sometimes you just have to kick Monday right in the pants and get on with it so I'll be mostly doing that today :)

fake e: or Sunday for those unfortunate enough to be behind the times :/

Definitely feeling the Sunday blues right now :( going to be another mad week at work probably.
It'll be fine. Sunday is just a bad version Monday so imagine how awesome that will be when you get there and can enjoy the new start to the week!

Work will be mad, that's how it, uh, works. And that too will be fine :)

Facebook recommended this group to me for some reason.

Currently trying to decide how productive i'm being. Today was my last day in the office and so various meetings were involved along with lunch out. My van is in the garage so i walked home (~8 miles). Along the way i bought beer. As is my will, they're all ~7-8% Double IPA's

I got home about 8ish and opened one and chilled with the wife. I then came to do some work and opened additional beers. I'm now on my 3rd and can feel the effect given i've had no tea. I'm half working and half browsing on here. The longer i do this the higher the chance of me opening more beer. This will mean i'll do more work (sub par), however also increase the chance that i wake up feeling rubbish and am therefore not productive tomorrow.

At the moment, I'm at that perfect level of "buzz". Music is giving good vibes, i'm ticking off some easy tasks, but i know demons lay ahead. I have some horrific presentations to deal with ahead of tomorrow afternoon/evening. Yet 99% of me insists the 4th beer is the way to go!

Been waiting at home all day waiting for a parcel from DPD, got my 1hr slot of when they would turn up. 10 mins into the hour I got an email saying "sorry we've missed you".

I am like....I can see the front room window, you have never been!

I clicked on the email and the photo, he took a photo of my neighbour's front door. So I checked and wondered - did I put my neighbour's address on the delivery address? Nope!

Looked down the street and saw him delivering to someone else down the road and I sprinted down there, waiving my arms frantically like a crazy person in the middle of the road to catch his attention hoping he would look at his wing mirror. Luckily he did and managed to get the parcel (camera).
