How'd she get on?

She covered a bit over 107km in the 24 hours. Coming 2nd among the (5) women in the 24 hour run and about midway through the field overall. She's was very pleased with herself. And surprisingly unsore afterwards. She was hobbling around for days after the last one she tried when she gave up after about five hours before the end, but this time she was feeling mostly okay the next day bar a bit of stiffness and a few blisters.

My longest was about 16hrs, although wasn't a timed event. Just took me ages! I was scheduled to do a 100 miler which would've been a similar time, but injury has ruined me :(

Wow. I have respect for anyone who can do that. Sorry about your injury; that must suck.

Awesome stuff.

Yeah, i've been grumpy now for the last year as can't really do much over a 10km and it's doing my head in with no sign of resolution. My wifes been getting sick of me, was amusing on the date of the 100 miler as i was being grumpy around the house all weekend saying "should've been around 70 miles in by now". My wife couldn't quite understand why i was annoyed about having to sit around at home drinking wine on a Saturday night rather than being out in the miserable wet and dark windy coast of Wales!

My wife is miserable whenever she can't run, while I only ever run because I feel like I need to do something to keep fit.

It's ok, i've used it as an excuse to spend money. Built a new bike in February and just bought a Water rower :D

The lack of running is tough though as we're currently at the base of some mountains and there's nothing i like better than running up in the hills and it just causes too much pain, especially here as it's unbelievably rocky.

Case of Stalker coins?

No one would sell such an investment, they would be wracked with remorse for ever after.

No this is a lot more mundane. A friend of a friends relatives haus is for sale and its offered at an insanely low price for a bizarre specific reason. I was able to get my hands on it through sheer luck. This place is unique and will never ever be for sale again. The value is.....significant.

Hence jumping on it without thinking, once in a lifetime.

My neighbour below me moved out in the middle of the night. Don't worry, she had her flat on the market and was sold. My wheelie bin is full of her stuff - never was asked to use my bin. Just enough room for another bag of my rubbish in there. She left the spare keys in the communal hallway we share. It was 7:30am so had a cheeky look inside before the new neighbours move in, probably this weekend.

The new neighbour(s) have to vacuum the floors as in a state. I always have vacuumed the floors when I have moved out in previous properties.

Have a cheeky pooh in the toilet and don't flush it.
