This Instant And Moment - 2024!

took them about 4 hours to get the guy from the lift, I walked past and they were on about winching him out.
there wese 5 or 6 fire engines out the back at this point :O

then when I was coming back in I saw them getting ready to leave on the stairs.

They had those jaw things for cutting through metal out and the lot, I wonder if they cut the top of the lift off

Probably more as a precaution i.e. in case there was a fire or something and they had to get access quickly (and destructively).

I woke up this morning feeling like I had been beaten up.

A quick look in the mirror (SO many bruises) explains that one. That's what I get for partnering in training with a 17 stone rugby lad, I suppose.

I am not looking forward to training tomorrow. At all.

So just had to watch my youngest not be selected for her karate grading whilst all the other older kids get selected.

She tried her best not to cry but she’s only 6 and this is the first time she’s failed at something.

Her mother wants to let her quit so I have to argue against that..

I walked past an cash point earlier that had an error screen

looks like the screen is covered in the bacteria from a billion breaths, is that algae?

That sucks.

My 4 year old niece was learning martial arts, a high energy 4 year old who turned out to be a little too good at it was not a good combination.

Don't enjoy driving up here in West Yorkshire,.got myself a £4.50 day bus ticket and did the Royal armories and white rose and just mooching on random buses, may do a train one, Hebden bridge, Skipton ect I think it's good to look at all places as a tourist even though most of my life has been here

Not looking forward to my Nanan’s funeral. Obviously it’s the mourning side. But my cousin’s daughter wants this and that - OTT. Like applying make up on Nanan. She’s going to be cremated. My Nanan wasn’t one for make up. Can’t remember her wearing much make-up.

Then those vomit inducing ‘NAN’ flower arrangements.

I’m not getting involved in the funeral ‘politics’

Dad’s not happy. Hopefully mum, dad and myself can sneak off early

Probably best to treat it as a teachable moment really - sometimes in life you do fail despite trying your best.

It's always a tricky one. I remember my wife still remembering when her Gran died that some distant relatives who probably hadn't seen her for years turned up and started wailing at the back, which then aggrivates those who actually knew the deceased properly in life rather than just turning up for the event.

There's a tricky balance between letting people do what they want to make themselves feel better and actually honouring the wishes of the deceased.

When my great aunt died (Nanan’s sister) at the funeral, my cousin’s daughter took her mum and her half siblings with her. Cousin divorced his first wife about 26 years earlier (only time she saw the great aunt was at the wedding 29 years earlier).

Half Siblings never met my great aunt.

These people should not attend that funeral imo.

Can see my cousin’s daughter inviting her friends who never met my Nanan.

My former friend checked the death notices in the paper. Sees a name she heard of - she goes to the funeral, sitting at the back. She even does a card. Even though she didn’t see the deceased for twenty plus years. Her messages weren’t sympathetic either. About 2 weeks after a funeral of a former colleague’s husband. The son turned up demanding an apology as the message was upsetting

So funerals bring out the odd in some ppl unnecessarily.

Try to guess the input and get an AI to output the essay? Would probably be tedious unless they’ve just input the question / title.

You'll rarely get the exact same output twice, though it might be possible to correlate an unusual amount of matching phrases, etc. often AI systems will give more than one possible output to select from as well unless just a basic chatbot style.

Nearly 2 months in mid Wales.... Getting hang of the oil heating and borehole and open fire.... Trying to do DIY as well as buy 4x4s and try and sort out the mice that keep coming in... Just saw a squirrel go into the loft so got to sort that as well... And the pheasants and the foxes and the owls.... We moved here for piece and quiet lol....
