This Instant And Moment - 2024!

So some scribe broke into my pick up truck last night. Stole all my power tools and hand tools.

Contacted the police, told they’d give me a victims number but it basically wasn’t worth their time to attend. Despite having quality images from the house and vans cctv.

I swear south wales police are the most useless bunch of workshy ladies genitalia known to mankind.

In all fairness what are you expecting them to do? Scrub for prints on some bloke of no fixed abode?

I had to laugh awhile back - to quote my post at the time:

"I had one recently where even the call handler said it warranted an immediate response - 14 hours later police turned up. (This was a situation with an actual danger to life risk)."

Within a few weeks of that called 101 after disturbing someone trying to break into a Starbucks in the middle of the night and there was like 7 police vehicles tearing up the road 30 seconds later - person had long gone by that point hence calling 101 instead of 999.

So I have been looking for an all in one travel shaver + trimmer (must have interchangeable guides) that is USB-C powered. It seems there is a distinct gap in the market.

The market seems to do cheap £20 shavers that is AA battery powered. Which is just for a clean shaven look, and you can get USB-C powered for these (Manscape, for like £80). But it seems as soon as you want a trimmer....they are all powered by a 2 pin 8 adaptor thing that is a shaver plug.

At most they make it like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-On...&sr=8-7&ufe=INHOUSE_INSTALLMENTS:UK_IHI_5M_VF

But why can't the charging socket in the shaver be USB-C....I don't get it. My water flosser is USB-C powered, a laptop is USB-C. It would mean 1 less proprietary cable.

I was searching for a friend's name on instagram, it blocks the search with a message "This may be associated with the sale of drugs" LOL, only triggers on their full name to the letter, looks like 2 parts of their name if combined are a street name for Ecstasy but only AI would make that connection.

Star Wars Episode 7 to 9 was just a specialist subject on Mastermind. Guy got 7 and I got 6. Should have done better since I'd just watched them this past week. :D

Do you actually know an Ebeneezer Goode?

Have been tracking energy usage of my heat pump tumble dryer. Like an absolute idiot about 3 months ago I realised I mislabelled it and was tracking my server consumption. Anyways, turns out in my rage to fix it I plugged the energy monitoring plug into the washing machine.

So 2 years on and it's still a damned mystery as to how much the tumble dryer costs to run (y).

So free then!

We seem to have a plague of flies. I must have removed over a hundred of the buggers from the Kitchen in the past few days. Still no idea where they're coming from.
Sounds like cluster flies. I suffer from this problem too (South and West facing building). They're looking for somewhere to hibernate, so if you have any small gaps anywhere they can get into the building.

Maybe, although they don't seem to match the descriptions I can find online. I assumed something died in the walls of the house, and these hatched from the maggots that ate it. There was something stinking up the place we couldn't find about a month ago or so.

Ah, probably not then in that case.
