Started the transplant of my old 4790 build into the ~25 year old Lian Li case. This is for the workshop to drive Zwift.
Rummaged through the attic and found my 17 year old Tagan PSU and a 970 from 9 years ago.
It's funny this PSU means a lot to me. My late father drove me to Telford to get it swapped out under RMA. It is a right work horse despite only being 480w. They gave me a big goody bag of bits and pieces. #feelsgoodman
Unfortunately I remembered why on the same order as the gtx970 and 4790 there was a Corsair PSU.
Need to buy a new PSU now and finally set the Tagan to rest.

I got bit by an insect on my left face cheek 5 days ago and its swelling up like a painful.balloon. Managed to get an emergency appt with a GP today (Sunday!) and got some antibiotics. Hopefully it works - its made my neck on that side painful.
Well my pessimism was misplaced. The police called me back and have let me know this guy is now back in prison.

Got another promotion (stripe) at our annual grading at my Dojo. Feel super humbled by it. I've stepped up a little more and done a few competitions (won some lost some) but it's hard work but for some reason I can't get enough.
A few minor niggles and injuries but they come and go.
So as a reminder to all get out of your comfort zone. Don't strive for perfection strive for progress. I may not be the best but I'm getting better than I was. My frame of reference is my own journey. It's thrilling.

Was just about to diagnose a fan bearing gone on my PC. Checked my Amazon history as I was certain I replaced them a while back....turns out I was right, 4 years ago, Noctua... seems premature to go wrong.
Opened case to see the HDD Pwr light jumper cable thing was resting perfectly on the centre of my GPU fan. 1) Saved a few quid on fans. 2) Thank got it didn't get sucked into the blades and grenade the thing.

Amazon are amazing. Ordered a ‘2 pack’ of pre built Hotas mounts, seemed a little cheap to be true, especially versus the competition. Of course only one turned up. So ordered a second. Complained to Amazon, they refunded one of them so I essentially got the 2 as advertised. Win.

I've ordered things from Amazon that I already had by mistake and they just refunded the order and said no need to return it so I just gave it to a family member instead.

Set my alarm for 6.30 last night, already walked the 30 minutes to station and sat on a train. Why do I always feel so rough and queasy when I get up early

Do you drink a lot of coffee during the day? Do you feel less sick after having a coffee?
If so, could be you’re drinking too much caffeine and have withdrawal. I feel like this sometimes.
