This Instant And Moment - 2024!

Moving house and I've managed to successfully move the TV singlehandedly without breaking it (they do say it's a 2 man job). LG C1 48" looks great but the design is utterly stupid if you ever have to move it. The top half / third of the screen is about 3mm thick. I'd rather they just put a housing on it to protect it, even if that meant it was, say, 1cm thick instead.

C3 is the same - I have it wall mounted and it feels so fragile every time you go to move it.

Wife is out tonight. So finish my arm workout, crack open another of my craft beers and fire up Stalker 2 :)

Absolutely terrifying moving my C3. My S95B was no better. Such a stupid design, it’s got a fat lower bit, so it’s not as if it gains you much.

Everyone getting red alert on their phones for severe wind tomorrow - first time one of the alerts came through to my phone. Had a lot of people confused.

Just had an alert on personal and work mobile from GOV.UK for red storm warning. Crapped myself as my speaker was on loud

Had the alert as well. I stocked up on beer on the way home from work so I'm all set. Good luck everyone!

Edit - I feel like the eardrum busting sound could be saved for something like an incoming nuke. Maybe for something like this where it's warning us about something that will happen later it could start at a lower volume and gradually increase?

Someone got me a 300 G bag of Tesco's cheesy balls claiming that they are actually quite cheesy, they are not too bad for an own brand for sure.
I am looking forward to my last 3 days of work for 2024 next week.

I kept the box for my 65" C9. Felt very good about doing that when we moved house.
