Electrocuted myself while working on my car by accidentally bridging between the battery and the #6 spark plug with a ratchet. Nice jolt and a shower of sparks.

Fortunately both Acme and car are unscathed. :p

Its not that difficult after you take the first step, but for some people, myself included, taking the first step feels impossible.

Why anyone would ever want to go to such places is completely beyond me. They are the bleached ******** of the world.

10 Acmes / 10 is still about 2 / 10. I'm the most socially awkward creature on the planet. 90% of my interaction with people is through here.

Really ****** off today, I work for an IT company and I'm booked out to do UAT testing all day today. I'm not talking to anyone else in the office, I'm not using the phone systems, I generally just don't need to be in the office, I could do it from home.

I got up 30 minutes early to ask the question, and was told no, with no reasoning whatsoever.

So I'm effectively wasting about an hour of my life and £5 of petrol so I can sit in a much less comfortable chair surrounded by miserable people.

The mind boggles... I don't think anyone at this company is capable of making logical or rational decisions... Meanwhile the managers seem to come and go as they please, and work from home whenever they feel like it...

Our neighbour has a PQZTB motor actuator on top of a warbling flange, and the photon neutralisers are all nibbling at the squeebles. Quite interesting to watch.

^ Thats all I read. :p

I want to quit my job and magically continue earning money.

Bitcoin trading isn't going too well. I bought at £667 and sold at £887 but its now at £927... Should have held on... :(

Very true but it is still rising.

Thats the price per BTC rather than the amount I bought btw.

I'm hoping we have a price crash again soon, and I'll sink a few K's into it and once its up I'll sell enough to break even again, and leave the remainder sitting on top of what I already have, slowly appreciating over time...

If I bought £10 of Bitcoin when I first heard about it, it would be worth around £18,000,000 now... If only I could have got a memo to myself in the past. :(

I was also going to buy about £100 of BTC when I was at college, which would have been worth something like £800,000 now... The reason I didn't is because I thought setting up a Bitcoin wallet sounded like a bit of a faff... *head desk*
