This is why people are losing respect for the police...

Labours first 4 weeks have been so bad that I almost want the Tories back, we're just have to suck it up for the next 5 years hoping the country survives until then and hopefully either the Tories learnt there lesson from this beating or Reform has a real chance. Because we can't go through two terms like this.

I'm hoping it'll be less than one. I'm hoping that an MP will open a vote of no confidence and trigger another GE.

Which means most of them are happy to integrate. Plenty of "British" people are also not compatible with British Values(tm)

Or somewhere between 0% and 60% declined to answer.

How many xenophobes do you know with foreign significant others?

Just the one (Indian Muslim with a white British wife - absolutely hates Jews, Pakistanis, Polish... pretty much everyone else tbh!) He's a bit of **** and we don't get on at all. I try to avoid people like that as I find them abhorrent, unfortunately the wife is my sister in law, so I don't get much say in the matter :p

There are lots of right wing groups that are well known to the authorities and people on the far fringes.

The people initially mentioned the EDL name would know it's not them. They would know the real group name (if it's an actual group).

They've learnt not to use names such as EDL as it just puts a target on their back. They do all their organising on social media. They are still the same people who would have been in the EDL though. The name works for calling them out as a group.

looks like the cop shoved the dog at him on purpose.

as always police demanding with or else consequences and no public engagement or tolerance.

They should have let the guy say his piece and move on, stuff like this could just incite more violence and stoke more hatred.

Shame his shorts didn't get pulled down though

I saw someone mention elsewhere the Geneva convention protects prisoners from the sort of stuff the police do to the general public, including after people have been detained and put in handcuffs.
and I'm not sure you could really argue against that

Lol if your gonna taunt the police during a riot your gonna get ‘bitten’ whether metaphorically or physically!

It’s really not difficult people.

If you don’t want to get your head stamped on by police don’t go and punch three of them.

If you don’t want to get arrested don’t fight with machetes in public.

It takes a lot of planning and careful acts to find yourself in these positions. It doesn’t happen accidentally.

Because Starmer used some trigger words his pushing forward with facial scanning as totally dropped off the radar.

I would imagine part of this law will require bans on face coverings in public areas, and the requirement to remove a religious face coverings if asked to do so by the police.

The police should just watch people riot, like they did when the mob were coming for statues etc

Wonder what would happen if the Far Right tried to do the same, probably beaten black and blue before they could get a rope around it.

If anyone had any doubts on the types of people who turn up to these peaceful protests.
