Tell me if I'm talking nonsense please but here's the way I see it...
You have more aggressively inclined individuals on all sides of the political spectrum, left wing yobs, right wing yobs, right? Some people are just hell bent on causing trouble and like to attach themselves to a movement. It's human nature for some, I guess, to feel like they belong.
Now, when there's a major incident that people are emotional and upset about, it sparks a fire, people get angry and it draws these individuals out. These yobs are the ones that take it too far, vandalise, assault police, whatever.
As these yobs are causing the mayhem, the police get their backs up, everyone gets passionate and the non-yobs, who are already upset say 'I'm not 'avin this' and it all goes a bit mental. They then seek solace on social media and look to the ones that have answers(Farage, Robinson et al) and want involvement in the 'movement' that they feel will make a difference. It then leads to nationwide protests getting organised and everything going pete tong.
What am I on about? As I said a few pages back, I'm still not buying this EDL/right wing/fascists stuff and labours approach has been way off. This has long been brewing and it's sadly now giving way to far right 'idols' that wouldn't normally have a word in with your average joe.
Just my 2 cents.
