It is a jury decision though so they can pretty much decide what they want.
 
A very modern conclusion to this would be for JD to win. AH then commits the ultimate wife beating on herself, complete with Goodbye Cruel World note written in her own excrement for ironic lolz.

The final crescendo being a massive gender reveal by Camille who started life as Charles - her/his/their trans medical bills paid by Johnny Depp, a full 6 years before he met AH.

If it's true that the jury have been rolling their eyes and basically zoning out of her testimony as has been reported by people in attendance it really should be a quick ending to this. How any jury could take her side boggles the mind as she's been proven to be a lying overdramatic bitch that's incapable of crying.
 
I think JD will lose just due to defamation being so hard to prove. Same with AH's counter claim.

But over the next year PR appearance's by JD on big shows etc talking about his drink/drug abuse and how he's trying to do better which then in a years+ time will get him back into some decent sized roles due to the public clearly being willing to watch movies with him in it.

AH will be on some small probably insignificant shows/podcasts still pushing her side. Maybe the odd tiny role in film that no-one will watch then fade into obscurity.

I'm not sure that I believe the rolling their eyes and zoning out claims tbh, when you watch the streams, its very clear from the first few minutes of each days stream that most of the people in attendance in the court are very much in the JD camp, so it would make sense that they would make those claims

The people you see on TV are not the Jury though.
 
Can just imagine Depps party if he wins. Coke everywhere, Ben Chewing on MDMAs, Camilla dancing half naked on the bar counter, Dr Curry jumping out of a huge muffin cake, naked.

Who out of Amber or Johnny would be making movies worth millions upon millions every year. Not just one massive super hero movie. Pirates 6 would be massive on it's own if Johnny was in it and clearly worth 10s of millions to him and a billion to Disney. I think this defamation is in Depps favour personally. He stood to lose far far more than Amber would have,
 
Question... AH seems to always respond to the jury. Is this common? I have only been in court once but everyone on the stand responded to the person asking the questions, not the jury.

She's apparently trying to connect with them by doing that, it just looks weird being asked something then turning away from the person asking to answer it.

Not only looks weird but seems really fake and rude to the person asking the question.
 
Lawyers will generally instruct you to make eye contact with the jury, but in a natural way otherwise it just comes across as creepy/wierd. AH has taken that advice and dialled it up to 11. She hasn't connected with the jury at all, and in fact in some cases has been very condescending towards them.

Her entire case may well have been believable if she hadn't gone to extreme lengths to exaggerate things, but to essentially call every opposition witness on the stand a liar except me and my crew wreeks of desperation. I actually believe she thinks she is somehow winning still, and I can guarantee if she doesn't we will all know about it! She will blame anyone and everyone and claim it was an unfair trial, the patriarchy was against her yada yada yada.
