Am 15mins behind, but two very wrong objections in closing one which Chew can turn around on them is just pure gold.
I was actually surprised that the judge overruled one of those objections , in the closing statement he said that Kate Moss had testified that Johnny Depp had never "hit her or kicked her", AH team objected that isnt what she said and Chew said its exactly what she said. Surprised the judge overruled that one because AH team was actually right on that one, Kate Moss did indeed testify that JD had never kicked her but she didnt say in her testimony that he had never hit her. She said "He never pushed me, kicked me or threw me down any stairs" no mention of hitting, one way or the other.

She thinks she's Light from Death Note and desperately trying to kill Camille before she finishes

Just check you are right about the hitting.

I take it the old guy with grey hair, glasses and a beard is depps dad that followed him out? Looked somewhat similar.

I'm still reeling from the 2 audio clips of Amber berating Johnny after hitting him, then the Joker laugh clip back-to-back. Imagine being stuck in that nightmare for years.

Ben Chew got a bit emotional towards the end.

Does hitting need to be a punch or a slap? If a kick or a headbutt lands and hits you, does that not also fall under hitting? It still landed and hit you regardless of what bodypart it was.

Any other man would have separated her head from her neck long ago, she's lucky she got married to him and not someone else.

It doesnt necessarily need to be, but if you quote someone in a legal case, you have to quote them correctly. You cant say that they said "he never hit her" when they never said that, thats why I was surprised it was overruled. In legal cases when quoting someone directly, theres not much leeway for semantics. You have to quote what they said as what they actually said.

Suppose so, in trials you have to be accurate about your wording even if it's obvious of your meaning.

You are probably right but I think this is the big one he needed to clear his name. Going after these news outlets etc is something to let them sweat over. Depp and his team have everything in his favour, no rush to do anything. Win this (fingers crossed), have a massive party like what I suggested in an earlier post and live his life for a bit. Get it back together and make movies. I am sure if he got a good script what ever the film, it will get the money in. Guaranteed.
